I gotta hand it to their management.
Emphasis on customer service. Paying their workers better than the industry average. Limited menu = fewer screw-ups and faster processes. Manufactured scarcity by being closed on Sunday.
Genius move after genius move which leads to an all-around swell customer experience.
But it's still fast food.. that isn't actually all that fast, because there's always 400 people in front of you.
If I ate that for lunch, a nap would be fast approaching and I would awake around 5 Pm wondering where I was.Speaking of Central BBque in Memphis. My lunch right now. Even their Banana Pudding is amazing.

Pretty sure they also only allow a franchise owner to own one store so that is their sole focus. They are well run.
So I'm in Germantown TN, and off Gtown Pkwy and Wolf River, that CFA is making money hand over fist. Every time you drive past, no matter what time of day, day of week, the drive-thru (both lanes) is packed. The parking lot is full. (First world problem-- I patron the Starbucks across the way and frequently struggle finding a spot due to overflow parking.) On Saturdays, I'm convinced that CFA location is the 5th largest municipality in the state.
It's an interesting concept, but it'd HAVE to be in a pedestrian-heavy area. That model wouldn't work anywhere in Memphis because people HAVE to drive places. Even if the inside experience is super fast, the logjam of oversized SUV's trying to get there is going to be an issue.
That said, if any fastfood chain can figure that problem out, I'd put the most confidence in CFA (Taco Bell a near second place)

If you are a fan of the Football Team, you should care about the LV’s.I only know we lost because of this forum. I was perfectly content not knowing that they even played.
All for her going so we don’t have to hear about it anymore.

When that program is run correctly and they are winning, they can be an asset to the AD and bring in serious revenue.
When they are losing, they serve as just another drain on the AD living like a parasite off the Football program.
Duke isn't inflating his draft status or his shoe deal size. All those would be the exact same if he had been allowed to enter the draft our of high school. Duke IS making a fortune off higher ticket prices, jersey sales, higher TV ratings that will pay fruits in future TV deals, video games rights, etc...Zion doesn’t have to go to college. Take that up with the NBA about Zion not being able to play out of high school. That’s not an NCAA issue. You are arguing two different things.
Tell me what Zion gets if he is drafted straight out of high school. Tell me what he gets now after one year at Duke. His shoe deal will probably be 9 figures.
