Had a chance to get discounted tickets for UT vs Vandy a few weeks back and put it off since work was so busy and when I tried last week to get them they were sold out. Should have grabbed them while I had the chance. Really ****ed that up.

Getting Wright, Toot, and Russell makes for a solid class. If Pickens were to come, that just might be the cherry to push us into top 10.

Is he counting current unsigned commits like Cox and Harris or is he saying they won't be in this class?

Living in Texas, I'm gonna pull for the San Antonio Commanders. Daryl Moose Johnston is their GM. I looked at their roster and I recognize very few names. Major scrubs. I thought there would be some more name talent available.

I think the express will have alot more names you recognize on the roster... I know former Vols pig howard, dallas thomas, von pearson, chris weathered, and cory vereen were listed on the team from what i can remember. Also alot of LSU, Arkansas, Memphis, Ole Miss, Miss State, and Kentucky players on the team.

2020 Top 5

Who are your top 5 guys in the 2020 class, based on who you think we have a realistic shot at getting?

IMO

1. Harrison Bailey - gotta have a QB to build the class around
2. Justin Rogers - A lot of people like him at guard, but I personally hope we put him at DT and let him be a guy we can build the defense around.
3. Myles Murphy - The Georgia one. Put Rogers at DT, and I think it helps attract Murphy. DL rebuild similar to our OL rebuild this year.
4. Reggie Grimes - I'm basically ho bagging for the DL this list but you should understand why. This one would be doubly advantageous as it'd be stealing a UA legacy.
5. Arik Gilbert - He and Bailey would already have chemistry coming in, and quite honestly this kid is a monster. Hard to consider TE's must have guys, but he's of that caliber. Likely day one starter - with no disrespect to Jackson Lowe, who I think will be a very good player as well.

just missed the cut.... Antoine Sampah. Really like the idea of a dominant ILB behind that DL. I know he's visited us in the past and spoke highly of Tennessee, but that was a while ago and it seems like the usual suspects (UA and Clemson) have the momentum.

Wright, To'oto'o and Pickens would put us well into the top-10, and I don't think it would be close. Russell would have basically no effect on our class ranking. The ranking is mostly based on the top 10 or 15 recruits. The further down your list they go, the less their rating is weighted.

But if we added those 4, that would put us currently with the 4th ranked class. Would've been good for 8th last year and the year prior, and it would've had us right on the verge of top-5 two years ago.

I’ll be at the game against Atlanta in March. I’m excited and hoping the Vols play well

Right before we did a drill competition on Parris Island my Drill Instructors played Enter Sandman in our barracks. My platoon won.
