You can't say what all you've done and act like it's sone unheard of accomplishment. It's an accomplishment no doubt, but I've worked hard, struggled and bought land /house also. But I'm definitely not going to act like I need a ceremony from another generation. That's not called great. That's just not being a bum.
The greatest generation is a very well known saying, so yes. That's what I called them.
My work ethic is great, yours sounds great also. But for some reason everyone wants to classify people, good or bad, lazy or motivated, into a generation and you can't do that.
Peace. I try not to stereotype age groups, and I for one do not think my generation is better or harder working. There are hard working and lazy people of all ages.
Personally, I think of my parents' generation as Jackie Gleason (Honeymooners) or Archie & Edith Bunker. My stereotypes, I guess.
