Agree 100%. If one witnesses someone attempting to drive, it is your business regardless of what anyone tells you. Do them and everyone a favor and don't let them drive.

Probably should have taken him to the hospital. He’s now being treated for strep and ear infection. I can handle that, we’ve done that a dozen times it seems. His little brother is exhibiting symptoms too. This Christmas break has been a struggle but I know where my help comes from and it’s especially topical this Christmas.

And thank you for providing some levity and an escape from this madness. Thank you for praying. Go Vols! Hope we get a shiny new OC for Christmas... it is Tomorrow ya know 🙃

Here is some good news. You will remember this Christmas forever for being scary and harrowing. Your son won’t. My son was very sick last Christmas. All he remembers about last year at this point is getting to watch Home Alone several time and the programmable AT-AT he got. He does not recall the 103 temp, the awful blistering rash, or the night of delusions because his fever was so high.

I caught it from my daughter about 5 years ago. It’s no fun. It is a similar sickness to chicken pox and shingles, so if you had chicken pox as a kid then you’re more susceptible to both as an adult. I pray I never get shingles.

They make a shot for it now that is effective to prevent. CDC recommends if you are >50, but I think you can get it earlier.

I think we just called it foot and mouth disease when I was growing up. I guess they added “hand” recently?

No joke. I’ve got a buddy that every time we go out to eat has 6 or so whiskeys and I just think about the cost of his meal while I sip on my water with lemon. His doctor friend invites him over for Pappy Van Winkle all the time as well.

Ok for you morans that gave me a hard time for smoking a turkey....

Ingredients:

1 14 pound turkey (free, gift)
1 gallon of salt/sugar/water solution ($1.00)
1/2 cup of olive oil ($1.00)
4 oz of rub ($3.59)
1 12oz can of coke (.$59)
12 oz of cherry wood chips ($.59)
.75l of Hendrick's gin ($40)
1 litre of Canada dry tonic water
1 large lime ($.79)

Prep time: 1 hr
Cooking time: 8 hrs
