My OC thoughts are as simple as this: I want a coach on the come-up. I want a coach that can develop QBs. I want a coach that contributes to recruiting. I want to throw the ball more than we run (unless the lead is comfortable).

I want to thank everyone for the thoughts and prayers for my friends family...I don't really want to say much else about it in here, a pall has been cast in my circle this Christmas, and I pray my friends will feel the comfort of the Holy Ghost. That comfort is the greatest gift of God in times like this.

I know a lot of folks come here to get a kind of reprieve from real life...I know I do, but just keep the family in your thoughts and prayers this Christmas, and hug your loved ones tight, thanking God for another day together...you just never know when it will be your turn.
Any word on the mom?

I want a coach...

with successful experience as an OC in a Power 5 conference.

that Coach Pruitt trusts enough to let him do his thing.

that can develop a QB.

that will contribute to recruiting.

that runs a balanced offense.

Thank you DD and I don't want this to change anything. I love the ribbing I get and I getting to dish out all in fun. Most in here have learned how to take my humor and ribbing. As I said not here to judge, here to have fun with my VN family.
Well... I’m calling you “The Bishop” from now on

I’m a bit late to the bourbon discussion, but has anyone ever had Old Fitzgerald? Got to try that one the other night and it might be my favorite. Blanton’s is a close second.

Not a huge fan of Angel’s Envy. The pork barrel just gives it such a different taste. Booker’s has a nice taste but it’s a little too hot imo.

Merry Christmas Eve my brothers and sisters.

I just wanted to update you on my son. Thank you all for praying for him couple days ago. His fever spiked once again but stayed down for the better part of 12 hours. Probably should have taken him to the hospital. He’s now being treated for strep and ear infection. I can handle that, we’ve done that a dozen times it seems. His little brother is exhibiting symptoms too. This Christmas break has been a struggle but I know where my help comes from and it’s especially topical this Christmas.

And thank you for providing some levity and an escape from this madness. Thank you for praying. Go Vols! Hope we get a shiny new OC for Christmas... it is Tomorrow ya know 🙃

Yes, please no drinking and driving. I saw where Budweiser and AAA are teaming up with towing companies to give you a free ride home and will tow your car too for free, up to 10 miles. It's way too easy to get home if you've had too much to drink. Uber, Lyft, taxis,. Get a freakin' ride.

Honestly, bar tenders, waitresses, friends etc. are going to have to be more responsible too. Our responsibility to one another has to be a part of the conversation. The problem with people that get that drunk (and I'm not talking about those who are over the limit but generally have good sense left in them albeit impaired sense) is that they are too drunk to realize they shouldn't be behind the wheel of an automobile. They're the ones who speed off like maniacs and kill people but we would do well to stand up when we see someone like that even if (and it usually will) it pisses them off.
