Clemons is gone for sure. Do we know any others who may go elsewhere?

Cox and Henry both visiting elsewhere. Ditto Beasley, though he seems more solid now . Harris could still have academic issues, though less than originally thought. Given the numbers and other guys we're in on, we could lose 3-4. I'm surprised we're letting all 15 of the early signees sign on Wed. I thought the coaches might hold a few back-- and I guess they still could, depending on how things shake out after the weekend.

Thanks for the update, going be really interesting Wednesday. Maybe just very exciting, still a few want be known until jan. 5

Odd take given all the trash talk you've done about Kirkland and Kelly.
Either way, good luck to him and your family, hate that it didn't go better.

No trash talk about Kirkland and Kelly just facts.

If you wish I can give you a list if COVERED UP off the field and on the field issues. My point is Sapp never had any!!

A message board poster makes one comment and that’s represents how players are treated at Tennessee? Hope my donations go to someone other than players who have relatives like you. Have a feeling that Sapp would be embarrassed by this.

Prospects will start to leave campus early this afternoon but here’s a couple quick notes on the weekend so far…

We hinted around the Quavaris Crouch stuff earlier in the week. I noted not to discount the Vols in my 10 Things piece and that they were getting the final in-home visit. The trip this weekend was scheduled then, too, but Tennessee didn’t want the information out there. Crouch spoiled the bit with his social media videos, but suffice to say, the quiet visit has gone well for the Vols. We’ll see what other information we glean over the next couple days, but Tennessee certainly has Clemson sweating a bit over this one now. One thing to keep in my with Crouch: He doesn’t plan on signing anywhere Wednesday. He will make his announcement at the All-American Bowl in Texas on Jan. 5, simply singing a financial aid agreement afterward.

Another visitor who made the trip after an in-home with Tennessee’s staff was wideout Javonta Payton. I know some around Mississippi State were saying the visit didn’t take place, but Payton was here.

Future foundations of the offense?

On campus this weekend were 5-star OT Darnell Wright, 4-star RB Eric Gray, 4-star ATH Quavaris Crouch, 4-star WR Ramel Keyton, 4-star OL Wanya Morris, 4-star OL Chris Akporgohene, 3-star OL Melvin McBride, 3-star TEs Jackson Lowe and Sean Brown and 3-star QB Brian Maurer.

If the Vols land Wright and Gray, that would be four of their five OL in the 2019 class, their top RB, their top WR, QB and both TEs.

Finally, early word is Tennessee has given wideout Jaylen Ellis plenty to think about. We hope to catch up with the Baylor commit later today. Like Crouch, Ellis won’t sign Wednesday and will announce a final decision in Texas.

Future foundations section with no mention of Cain.. Hmm.

Edit: there was a small piece posted in Cain’s thread. Jesse just doesn’t have much info on him currently.

A lot of fans are going to wear orange colored glasses about guys leaving. They might even dismiss their contributions.

We've seen too many players leave recently and have amazing careers elsewhere to dismiss the points you are making, but we've also seen guys take risks that don't pay off.

Players, friends and family are going to wear Rose colored glasses about their opportunities too, and we can all respect the reasoning and motivation.

I hope Sapp does well. I am glad he has his degree regardless how he fairs in NFL.

I understand.... and agree with some of the points you shared.
