Tennessee Vols RecruitingDoes anyone have a list of guys we’re “in on” for Wednesday?
Who ya gon git?
For real though. He is an above .500 coach that gets them bowl games.
Not sure how much more they can hope for.

If I were a die hard BR fan I’d want a change.Yeah that's the issue. It would be really easy for MTSU to make a bad hire and go from a 7-5/8-4 team to a 4-8 team. Plus if they land a good young coach he will leave after a few years anyway. Might as well stick with Rick "Jeff Fisher" Stockstill.

How many of those are there?
I doubt any kind of coaching change is gonna drastically change game attendance and bowl checks are bowl checks.
Unless, Lane Kiffin.
I believe all conferences get revenue shares from all bowls and playoffs. I don’t think they’re taking a total loss even if not profiting from bowl but Bruin is right about individual bowl payouts.MTSU had to have taken a massive loss when it went to the Bahamas and Hawaii bowls back to back in 2014-2015. But taking a hit like that is still worth it to keep the program at least nominally relevant.
The point I am making is they get bowl revenues from the conference without having to spend monies to go if they aren't actually playing in them. Also coaches have bonuses that cost a decent amount as well that adds cost to the universityI believe all conferences get revenue shares from all bowls and playoffs. Either way, I doubt MTSU would consider getting rid of Stock.
Lol **** off.
Thanks for this. I’m trying to catch up and think I know all of the names. Just wasn’t sure who on our realistic target list is signing on Wednesday.Of the currently uncommitted players we are targeting, Jaylen Ellis and Eric Gray seem extremely probable to sign on ESD. Crouch seems too good to be true, but after last night has to be at least a 50/50 shot to secretly sign on ESD and announce on 1/5. Darnell Wright still seems solid, hope we can get him to sign this week. Noah Cain seems a bridge too far, but dare to dream.
Guys, why has no one mentioned Mel Tucker hiring his coordinators at Colorado? Let me start the conversation:
Mel hired an analyst from Georgia as his OC
He also hired an analyst from Georgia to be his DC--guy did have previous DC position at Colorado
Lets here it for not being the first P5 team to hire an analyst as an OC![]()
