Is this confirmed anywhere? I honestly don't know.
Also, proactively bad mouthing your previous employer, in the college coaching world, is typically a bad career move regardless of the reason/justification.
That and citing facts. That applies to other programs as well. Your major “big name” OC’s are generally plying their craft with the HC that gave them that opportunity. When they move on it’s for their own gig.Did anyone happen to catch the Doug Matthew pod cast last Sunday, 12/9/18? He always has an interesting topic of conversation but this particular one was interesting. He named every coordinator for UT, both offense and defense, from Majors to Pruitt.
I found it interesting because he was basically saying that a number of the coordinators were considered "no name" coordinators when they were hired but became very good during their time at UT. Could he be greasing the wheel a little bit prior to the OC hire? Just a little food for thought![]()
There was a clause in his contract about the buyout being wived if he got a head coaching position and with the request. of Pruitt.
I do occasionally. Bet huge on Tenn ML against Kentucky. I also bet against us vs Florida but that didn't even ease the pain
I might bet memphis tomorrow.
Classic letdown spot.
I don't think memphis is good enough to beat us but I think we play with a hangover and it's close. I expect the line to be 10
Or so. If it's more I may take memphis
