That’s why Cain is coming in this weekendIf Pruitt continues with his quest to be a run first team, he better quit giving scholarships to RB's who weigh less than 200 lbs. I keep looking for that 225-230 lb RB to come on board but those guys are not looking at UT right now. If they're looking, they're not signing yet.
I mean, I guess Price is lying by making up an elaborate story about having a picture of Wright in a classroom,Just because you pay for it doesn't make it gospel son.
@Atlanta VOLI mean, I guess Price is lying by making up an elaborate story about having a picture of Wright in a classroom,.
If AV says he’s there now I’ll believe it. But if JAllen is right it would be the first time. I still remember “welcome coach Gundy”
On the first part.... no one knows. Some will look at as a lateral move and he should’ve waited on a bigger job (if he was happy here and did well.) either way that’s a massive pay cut.
And idk what control who had. But either way he wasn’t happy here for a reason
WTH you talking about? That's a center or guard. If Pruitt continues with his quest to be a run first team, he better quit giving scholarships to RB's who weigh less than 200 lbs. I keep looking for that 225-230 lb RB to come on board but those guys are not looking at UT right now. If they're looking, they're not signing yet.
Why would he care about burning bridges for a guy he didn’t get along and disliked enough to take a huge pay cut to get away from? He has no reason to protect Pruitt - and he’s telling the truth to people who call him. That much is clear.
When Catbone is the only person who agrees with u, might want to re-think ur post..That’s the dumbest thing I’ve ever heard. He just got a head coaching job and is building a great staff.
If anything, it reflects poorly on Pruitt for running a guy off in one year and treating him the way he did.
Worth noting that Basilio's blog (specifically his source "Orange Throat") this morning also was saying that people are calling Helton and he is perhaps not giving the most flattering description of what it's like to work under Pruitt. That doesn't mean it's true, it means that someone is out there spreading this line to more than just VQ to get it out into Knoxville media.
Also notes that potential OC hires are asking Helton about what kind of talent he left behind on offense, and that may be the most discouraging answer of all. All the more reason we need to bring home some big fish recruiting targets on offense this class to make the job more attractive.
I would think that if we let him walk without paying his buyout, there would have been an NDA to prevent him bad-mouthing UT, but that’s just me.
