Guys/gals, prayers would be appreciated. My dad, 80 YO, rolled his 4 wheeler while hunting this afternoon. He's in pain. We think he's cracked a rib or two. He's in good spirits and we're waiting to get a CT scan. He should be fine but your prayers would be appreciated.

Done!

Sorry to hear this

Wow!! Sapp is the most versatile LB that UT has and he is damn sho the fastest. He isn’t 220, he is 228 and perfect hybrid LB for pro style football.

This defense isn’t able to showcase his skills so well but the kid is solid!!!! Mack Wilson is a see ball and hit player, no knowledge of the playbook and definitely not a scholar of the game.... oh and can’t cover worth anything!

Sapps burner account.

Junior year before his injury. Now, go look at his ratings on 247 and Rivals his senior year doo doo.

Who cares? He was a top 100 recruit at one point. No one was ever talking about his measurables because he was some low 3 star his entire high school career. He was highly rated before injury. Go root for Urban.

He tore his ACL in June at an Osu camp, the tweet above is in July. He committed to UT in January and was top 100 on rivals and top 200 on 247. Those are the facts. Got an invite to the UA AA game and then tore his ACL again just weeks later and that was the downfall of his recruitment. Teams stopped looking at him

Yea i mean either way it hasn’t worked.

Your pops sounds like a hardass who will pull through.
He's tough. He was way back in a gorge. I was worried about him so I texted him. He managed to text me back that he needed help. I knew where he was going so I went after him. I don't know what he was thinking. I had to walk it out of a bad spot. Then he rode it out.

Let me guess. You're over the age of 35.

To us guys in our 20s and to the teens we are recruiting its just another game we know we get curb stomped every year. It's barely a rivalry.
Over 35, yes...and the thing is, Bone, I understand what you're saying, about how it's perceived by young fans, I see it and get it; for the last 12 yrs, it's been nothing but boatraces and embarrassments for the most part.

However, 12 yrs does not make a 100 YEAR OLD RIVALRY. It does not wipe out what came before, and what both programs and fanbases have built around this one game; no matter how much you guys think it and say it...its laughable to even try and fathom such a thing...just the 'now', does not make a RIVALRY...and that's what we're talking about, right, whether the TSIO is still a rivaly?

It doesn't wipe ANYTHING away for long-time Vol fans, nor long-time Bama fans. To long-time Bama fans, UT is still their hated rival...I know, because I worked all last year with 2 of the biggest Bama fans I've ever met, and they reminded me everyday how much us Vols are hated. That should tell you something, Bama fans still feeling that way toward us.

Before Saban, Bama was still considered one of the top 5 programs, all-time, in college football...for many, the greatest. They were still mentioned in the same sentence as Notre Dame, Michigan, Ohio St, USC...before Saban. And before Saban, Bama led the series with us by only 6 games, and we are STILL the program that has beaten them the most times.

Point being, again...just the 'now' does not make a 100 yr old rivalry.

Rub some dirt on it type? Tough dude.

I wish him a speedy recovery.

Gucci must hate that Ohio State Michigan is considered a rivalry.

Buckeyes have won 15 of the last 17.

DEAD! DEAD I tell you!
Since 1998, Ohio St is 16 and 4 in the series.. yet, they still trail Michigan in the all-time series by 9 games. Just imagine people only looking and talking about the last 20 yrs, in the context of RIVALY.

Will this be a rivalry when Saban retires and we go on a winning streak against Bama? Was it a rivalry when Fulmer won 10 of 12? This is a dumb discussion. The only reason this isn’t a competitive rivalry right now is because their administration cared about winning and hired a great coach while ours hired 3 straight losers. Fulmer has changed the latter thankfully.

I'm with you. Going through a period where the teams' performances aren't even close doesn't make a rivalry not relevant. The rivalry's gone, or irrelevant, when the teams and fans cease to feel it. A lot of us still feel this one, at least here on the geriatric bench.
And many many Bama fans still feel the same way, too.
