Computers are just plain dumb sometimes.

I don't doubt we will be the underdog in every game but to say the Vandy game is worse one is ignorant

Computers are just a means to quickly traverse algorithms, so technically they are dumb. People (for now) create the algorithms. That’s why the weatherman are always wrong, bad algorithms.

Is anyone else just kinda to the IDGAF anymore point?

I’m not there but I am at the point where I don’t think we’re winning championships anytime soon so I’m content with a team that plays hard and gets to bowl games, occasional upset wins, and seeing us put players in the NFL.

The rest of the season is exciting for that reason. No guarantees we get to a bowl game but I think there is a path through Charlotte, Kentucky and Vanderbilt. Going to be a tough row to hoe!

Disagree about the defense. They had speed everywhere on that defense. Their front 7 were talented, big, and fast. They could play with anyone in today’s game. Bama is just bigger and stronger than most teams. And Yes, they have quick WRs and LBS, but that Nebraska team would match up well.

That’s one of the best teams of all time. Period. They would be Top 5 in todays game.

You seen that even a slow, lacking depth TN team could get pressure on Tua and even force a couple three and outs. Take a deep, talented, and fast Black shirt defense, and yeah Bama would have problems. Not saying Bama wouldn’t win, but just because they played a hybrid 4-3, doesn’t mean squat. They could rush 4 DL, they had Jason Peters, Tomich, Wistrom, and they had the corners Minter and Booker and they had size and speed, and had big, fast LBS and Safeties to match up.

That team was loaded with drafts picks and perennial All Americans.
They were fast on D for 25 years ago.

Modern dynamic offenses, especially Bama’s, would dice them up.

That's where I'm at. Going to enjoy watching them play hard and win by being the underdog like in the 80s while rebuilding to get to the 90s. I will be cheering for the team clad in Big Orange.

Sure. But from a team speed perspective they would be at a SEVERE disadvantage.

I see what you are saying... but I witnessed that 95 Nebraska team and I’ve seen this Alabama team up close 3 times now, and it’s not as cut and dry as you think.

Bama is just bigger and faster than every one else and it could also be that the other teams that they are playing just arent any good, so the games aren’t close. I mean who have they played? TX A&M? Mississippi? Arkansas St?

That Neb team beat 4 Top 10 teams and beat them by an average of over 50 points.

Just my opinion. Not saying Bama isn’t good, they are the best team in the country. But to say they are the best EVER? Gotta play somebody first, instead of a bunch of lower level SEC teams that are rebuilding

Pruitt says we only had 5 on offense and 7 on defense that showed up to play. Anyone know who the players are?
Don't do that. We don't need to know who it was and who it wasn't. We only need to back the 11 players on the field. Whether they give their all or not shouldn't determine whether we back them fully or not

Thanks @T Dog, so are u
