I have this feeling that Shoop is gonna struggle at Ms State. Feel like he had a shot to prove his worth here in some capacity for 2 years. If it was just one season, I might buy this narrative that Butch handicapped him. But I kinda think he just isn't that good. We will see though.

Shoop never got to coach the first string defense. There were multiple starters injured at every position for most of the 2 years.

Espn already running the Dabo excuse train for him. Tee Higgins and all of his 17 catches 300yds and 2 TDs that hasn't been an integral part of the game plan all season all of a sudden is a major loss per espn sideline reporters and completely hinders the offense. Lmao what a joke

He really sucked bad. Wish we had just fired Bufch after UGA last year and named the interim so we could have seen what we had. Oh well.

Shoop never got to coach the first string defense. There were multiple starters injured at every position for most of the 2 years.

His first string defense was usually his 2nd and 3rd string considering he started a bunch of no talent losers

I know, and it is still so weird. You would think a guy with that kind of resume could at least put a semi competent defense on the field...instead we got all time worst defensive records set on his watch...that is just so weird to me.

Yeah this is true too. But I never felt like we had any type of schematic advantage against most teams we played. There were a few in there sure. But you expect to get some good defense every now and then when you steal away a top coordinator. Defense was never this big strength on our team we could ever count on.

Always folded with the game on the line.
