I am going to be on board with pruitt, but I wonder if he can make the switch from 425 to 34 in one off season we saw how that went the one time we tried it before

We had different levels of athletes before. Large number on this team were heavily recruited by Pruitt at UGA and Bama. And that doesn’t include the DL in the upcoming class. Emerson was a huge Bama want. People worry about our LB depth, but we’ve been wasting them in the 4-2-5. Kirkland and Bituli with Ignont and Berry in the wings on the inside. Taylor,Butler,Smith,Deandre Johnson,Blakeley and Ryan Thaxton as OLB options. Uncertainties would be Solon Page, Sapp and Reid due to size but not all Bama backers were 240 plus. Pruitt would work wonders in our secondary. Warrior and Shamburger were heavily recruited and...Bass? Booby? Tyler Byrd, brah! Free at last free at last! :rock:

I've been pissed with our Offense as well as our Defense. Both have been unbelievably terrible.

I think some of the former vols have been pretty upset with the defense they have witnessed

I agree our defense is atrocious. However we went three games without scoring a touchdown this year.

Another plus with a Pruitt hire is the media narrative shifts immediately. We are seeing it already! No one at ESPN, CBS, Fox, etc is going to say anything but positive things about Pruitt- Saban's highest paid coordinator and best recruiter. And we need that narrative to shift quickly from the past 2 weeks.

Fix the defense first.

Zero chance he stays for playoffs if Pruitt is our guy. He'd need to start immediately. We are way behind.
