This just seems like the same thing that happened with Schiano.

Hubbs and Hyams keep mentioning his name over and over again. Fans say "no way that hire happens, they don't know anything, etc. etc." And then Schiano is the attempted hire.

It's Steele till it isn't.

Is Hubbs pumping Steele because he is worried about Pruitt relationship with 247?

Shannon Terry the owner of 247 tweeted about his excitement about 247 going to be ina good spot on TN info in the future. Makes sense with his Bama connections.

I genuinely just want this search to be over. Pruitt and I'll be cautiously optimistic. Steele and I'll have to unplug. But I'm really just tired of this whole circus and want a resolution.

Someone had a great point that if it was Steele this would have already been announced. Phil is trying very hard to find an alternative, someone who will change his mind. Hopefully Pruitt did that. Now let's sign the papers!

I agree. Only worry is we get scared off by personal life or he isn't willing to make buyout protect us
