SEC, what have you done… This is the freaking gauntlet. Unless they are bargaining to give the sec 4 guaranteed playoff spots and the ability for more, I don’t see how this helps the conference and their members, based on post season authorities clearly valuing win totals over strength of schedule.

Said all along that the 9 game SEC schedule would strengthen the little10s number of entries into CFP And secure a spot for ND every year.

This is why the polls are already boosting their rankings this year and why you will never see ND schedule more than 2 hard games a year. I mean ND has lost the only two hard games on their schedule and they are already being written into on of the CFP12 spots.

Good, nothing haunts me more than a backup QB.

Their backup will be ready and waiting to go 33-37 for 430 and 4 td’s. Need Mateer to play.

It will be a bionic thumb. Never fails when it comes to the VOLS.

I mean if you’re behind in the game you’re behind. Upgrading facilities probably is the first step to retaining talent. Focus on attracting them once you have something besides a few bucks to keep them there, because NIL alone is a losing proposition and one that is probably harder to get booster funding for without a long term vision including moves like the one in the link posted.
Did facilities matter to Florida players back when Urban Meyer was winning titles at Florida? They've only recently become adequate in that area. What matters now is the almighty dollar. It's who can give me the biggest bag more often than not. Location might come into play sometimes but how many of those 4 and 5 star California kids are staying in California? I would wager if you looked at the top 25 teams in the country, it would be littered with teams with worse facilities than Florida has now but they are fielding more competitive rosters.

I just don’t have a good feeling. The only thing that gives me hope is if this does turn into a shootout, I trust our offense way more than I do theirs.

I’m with you. We’ve laid eggs on the road in winnable games in recent years and this will be a tough home crowd. I think we are in a nail biter for three quarters, but pull away late.

This will be a game we escape more than win

We will see. Fun times!

If Faizon is the qb, we are in trouble. Hope he is great but that’s not a schedule for a freshman,
If he’s half as good as he’s supposed to be, he should start. If not I’m sure Gmac will be up to par by that point. It will definitely be an interesting season that’s for sure
