Recruiting Forum Football Talk IX

2025 class was ranked 11th, but the average player rating was 91.32
2026 class is ranked 8th, with an average player rating of 91.59

We keep adding the Jimmys & Joes and we might see a dynasty start rolling if Bama/Florida are really on the decline.
Especially if the evaluations are good and we hold on to the top players. A lot of teams are losing some of their best players to the portal.

Is there a ranking that shows what the talent looks like for each class after they're there for a year +?

We should start a new recruiting site that focuses on ranking classes after each year they've been here.

Bama gets handled by an unranked (currently #7) FSU team. UT loses in OT to the #6 team. Bama gets ranked higher, both with 1 loss.

bama bias is real.

There are 4-5 teams ahead of us that shouldn't be.
At least we get to play them and sort it out on the field.

A 2-1 texas in the top 10 is crazy to me. They don't look like a top 10 team.

Have I said they are a good team?

So, your contention now is that we'll find out how good Missouri is when they play South Carolina, because South Carolina is not good?

Front end loaded home games too, but we'll see how good they are vs South Carolina.

vs Bama
at Auburn
at Vandy
vs A&M
vs Miss State
at OU
vs Arkansas

to end the year will be a lot harder than expected based on how good the bold teams have played so far.

A JMoore21 reference from this lunatic.

is there some sort of strange subculture where he is a z-list celebrity? Or is he just in his own universe and thinks he really is a popular rapper/personality?

Also did he really get popped for being a pedo?

And wasn't he banned from campus?

How you can put anyone except Georgia and maybe Oklahoma above us is laughable, but Vandy??? Don’t rank based on the records. Rank based on what your eyes see when you watch the teams play.
I don't get the love for Oklahoma. They haven't played anyone and I don't think Michigan is all that good. TN should be 2nd.

*We "gave" that game away yesterday. Would they have put us 1st if we would have won? I don't think they would've.

Titans 57 yard fg with ease..

is it me or past few years there hasbeen a big increase in kickers ability? absolute cannon legs.

Yes, but also the NFL recently made a change to special teams balls. Teams can now "work in" the balls themselves (TWSS) instead of the officials having a set they control for each game.

If Missouri is in a last possession game with THIS South Carolina team wouldn't you question if Mizzou is good?

Sebastian Janikowski would own every NFL record for kicking if he got to use these balls.

Kiffin might still be with the Raiders. J/K
