One thing is for sure: the Vols are going to be an extremely tough out when we have a blue-chip ratio more on par with the UGAs and Ohio States of the world.
Yesterday proved that there's legitimately no "figuring out" Heupel's offense. If he has the dudes, it works against ANYONE.
After watching the replay, Heupel definitely should have kicked the ball on the "original" 3rd down, with 7 seconds to go. There were several minutes passed between that play and the false start. When this team slows down, it messes with all of them. I'm the same way, if I don't think and just do, I always get it right. You add in a few minutes for me to process the situation and I start seeing what can go wrong or put someone in my ear "aggravating" me about it, I tend to screw up. We beat ourselves yesterday.Yeah, I thought about that too. I think for some kickers, missing a career-defining kick (up to this point) could make you less afraid of the next one, because you've already experienced the worst possible outcome. But it could also make him abmore terrified because then you're thinking "what if it happens again?" The fact that he made the one in OT suggests he can rebound psychologically.

Yet if we kick the FG we win. Refs missed the PI and a few others including maybe some with on us. Tex an and m beat ND and guy was tackled by OL on winning TD. It is a hard job and at times I have wondered but ND is a favor child who got screwed. SEC refs are just bad. But make plays we should’ve and we win. This is unreal. I knew when I saw we had the head ref from Birmingham that we were gonna have to beat Georgia and the refs, and that is exactly what happened. We had every opportunity to do that and should have, but it’s so frustrating to have to go into these big games, knowing it will not be called evenly.
Don’t count on it.Curious to see how bad things end up for Florida when Miami beats them this week. That locker room could crumble
