Alot of this is a little skewed though without being put in context. Still only giving up 2.1YPC. Almost identical to UGA’s defense.

I’m thankful Aguilar has brought so much excitement back to this program. Win or lose. Maybe I got spoiled by our 2022 squad but I thought even the 2023 team was more enjoyable to watch than last year. We seem back to a cohesive team and a team that can score or make a big play at any time. Hard to complain about a 10-2 season but there were usually much better games to watch on Saturday last year truthfully. Our games were usually boring and frustrating. Pretty telling that it’s week 3 and gameday is already coming to town. Huge opportunity this Saturday and I already cant sleep thinking about it!

When we won the title in 98 we made my dad a cd Playlist. Back when you burned cd's. The most random of those tracks was Big John as a tribute to Big John Henderson. Glad he got inducted and is being recognized.
He was the baddest among us and set the bar for our toughest.

Heup looked so stoked for Joey when he connected on the bomb to Staley.

I hope he and Halzle dial up 3-4 of them on Saturday.

I hope that they hit on all 4 of them for long TDs. One per quarter would be fun. With 3rd and 4th quarter bombs from the 2nd and 3rd string QBs respectively. How much fun would it be to empty the dawg house by the end of the 3rd quarter!

Of course I will be just as happy with a 1 point win as time expires. But we actually deserve to win in a blowout game against them.

One player I haven’t seen talked about a whole lot this year that I think needs to have a big game is tyre west. Gonna need to create some negative plays, especially with the DL. Think he needs to have a breakout game.

We need to keep the game close to have a shot at winning. The last two games against UGA in Knoxville haven’t even been competitive. We lost both by double digits and didn’t score more than 17. If we let them pull away they’ll just stifle us again.
