Sanders as questionable... As good as Perry has been at tackle, I probably wouldn't "start" Sanders against Georgia even if he could go. Let him spell Perry some to get some reps (maybe), but keep rolling with what you have had the first 2 games. JMHO

I don’t think we win this weekend, but (unlike every other game since 2016, even 2022) I won’t be surprised if we do pull off the upset. The focus in many respects will be on our offense given how Georgia has had our number in Heupel’s tenure. My focus will be on the defense, though.

Our performance in zone coverage has been less than desirable to this point. With McCoy and Gibson available, I think that changes. For now, though, I think Banks has to have the guts to put his corners on an island in man to man coverage and dedicate the front four and a linebacker to stopping the run. Gunner Stockton isn’t going to beat you with his arm if you stop the run imo. Limit Georgia’s run game and make their receivers win one on one battles against Redmond (who has been awesome so far in man to man coverage), Hood, Carter, and McMurray. If we do that, I think the offense makes enough plays to put us in position to win it.

Neyland needs to be as hostile as it’s ever been this Saturday. Hope all those attending raise heck from start to finish. GBO
