OMG I hope you are rightWe brought in Alan Williams to beat Georgia. They have killed us in the middle of the field. Our safeties haven’t been good against UGA and it was a flaw in Banks system. We brought in Alan to fix this issue and help with the DB scheme. Georgia hasn’t seen some looks yet and I expect a couple picks this game.
don't talk dirty to me mister, we haven't even nibbled on our crumpets yetWe brought in Alan Williams to beat Georgia. They have killed us in the middle of the field. I guess he mismanaged it to two national titles. I’d take that. None of those guys were good other than Fields.I really believe that if Lurch doesn't get injured, Georgia wins it all. Kirby has mismanaged the quarterback situation his entire tenure at Georgia. QBs that have left under Kirby: Jacob Eason, Justin Fields, JT Daniels, and Brock Vandagriff.
I was only there because I promised my son I would go to a game in Athens with him. We only stayed until the end of the first half thank God..by the time the rain delay happened, my 7 1/2 month pregnant daughter-in-law and 7 year old grandson were really over it.What a horrible game to attend...
Either way, we will have to earn it. No one is better at the LOS than them. That's the bugaboo. We have to at least match that and execute at an A level.
Here’s an idea - stop pouring time and effort into QBs that are not part of the future here.Swaguilar only has one year of eligibility, so necks year if Merck leaves we would have Rs Fr GMac and true Fr Faizon. Doesn't sound like a good setup. So do they may go out and get a guy with a couple years of eligibility to fill out the room or try to hang on to Merck who they have already poured so much time and effort into?
I agree...the opportunities have been there...but we have executed horribly against UGA and those opportunities are at a premium against them, you simply don't get as many against any really good defense. Those long throws have been there to be made. . . we just didnt see the wr, overthrew the route or ran after read 1. All we need is a couple hits on those to give our offense some breathing room.
Also. . . people say they (UGA) haven't opened it up, while overlooking the flaws in their offense. If they have trouble executing a vanilla offense, why do we think they're gonna run a complex scheme successfully?
Our safeties need a big game and, for the love of orange, get off the field when it's 3rd & Crossville.
It doesn't guarantee a playoff spot...just makes it more likely. We can't afford to have any of those stupid brainfart games this year.I disagree, winning would be monumental basically guarantees and playoff spot and shows Heupel is elite. Plus I think rushing the field should happen more in college sports it’s the best
Well after we win Saturday he can consider you a curse and you'll never have to go againI was only there because I promised my son I would go to a game in Athens with him. It was brutally hot during the first half, it was like 95 where we were sitting (great seats though, just in the sun) and my boy was so pissed by that goalline stand AP made right at the end of the half that he was over it as well...so we left right before the storm hit, and then had to wait until the rain stopped to walk the three quarters of a mile back to the car.
