If we can hit a few 20yd+ passes, we'll soften up that D. That should make it a lot easier to handle. Not much you can do when they know every pass you do is gonna be 10yds or less with runs up the middle.

We have to make plays against a defense that is extremely hard to make big plays against...especially considering they always get to maul our receivers all over the field.

A few PIs would help big time.

As a fanbase we should expect to win these games. Storming the field makes us no better than bottom of the barrel teams.

I hear ya but disagree for this one. Haven’t beaten them in 8 years. UGA is 55-5 since Heupel arrived. Would be a huge win and would be celebrated as such.

If it was a Bama W @ home again, I’d get it.

If Tennessee gets the lead starting out then we will see Stockton panicking somewhat but if Georgia gets the lead and starts nickel and diming their way down the field and eating up game clock it could be a long day.

I prefer winning the coin toss and taking the ball down the field and put 7 on the board and then see what Stockton can do under pressure ...

Their new coach seems like the real deal. They had guys running open quite a bit. And the Lions looked lost without him. It's only one game, but so far that hire looks solid even though they lost.

Johnson will be a terrific HC. As far as it goes for Williams, I'm not as harsh on young QB's as some are. I watched Troy Aikman his first two seasons play horribly and then turned into a 3× Super Bowl winning QB.

Either way, we will have to earn it. No one is better at the LOS than them. That's the bugaboo. We have to at least match that and execute at an A level.

I agree, I had to change it to a different game for this reason and only watched the last few plays of the game. I am dreading our game against them because sound is irritating. Loud crowds are exciting and extremely fun to watch and adds life to games I don’t care about, but the cowbells are nails on a chalkboard.

I had to as well. It’s awesome when something happens and you hear the crowd roar or you hear the opposing fanbases yell while the home crowd goes silent. When they scored the go ahead td you briefly heard a cheer and then nothing but what sounded like a babies sound machine. I’m dreading having to watch four hours of it for our game.

Those long throws have been there to be made. . . we just didnt see the wr, overthrew the route or ran after read 1. All we need is a couple hits on those to give our offense some breathing room.

Also. . . people say they (UGA) haven't opened it up, while overlooking the flaws in their offense. If they have trouble executing a vanilla offense, why do we think they're gonna run a complex scheme successfully?

Our safeties need a big game and, for the love of orange, get off the field when it's 3rd & Crossville.

I agree, but its also not every week that you have an opportunity like UF losing to the instate group of 5 school USF. They missed a softball of a week with that one.

Georgia and Kirby send pressure and have dominated the Tennessee offensive line as well as locked up the receivers. Last year 6 sacks so Tennessee needs to get the ball out and protect like hell to be able to fire some shots downfield. Most importantly receivers have got to get open and catch the football

Just can't let UGA roll into Neyland and beat us yet again. Can't let them dictate the flow of the game. Can't let Bowl Cut get another W against the Vols and run up the streak for another season. Can't let grown men who bark at children enjoy a victory at our hallowed ground.

I hope Heup is in the ref's ears before the game even starts about their DB's grabbing our WR's the entire game... Make a big deal about it so it's out there and everyone knows it and is looking for it...

You’re kidding? I didn’t watch the throw. Just seen where his feet and shoulders were. Figured he threw him high and left.
