You need to delve further (but not so deep to awaken Durin’s Bane). Astin thought desi arnez jr was his father from early teenage years, well into adulthood. But that turned out not to be the case either. DNA testing proved that a guy named Michael Tell, was actually his father.Totally random tidbit of info I just learned and don't know how I never knew it...Sean Astins (Sam Gamjee, Rudy, Doug..etc etc etc) real father is Desi Arnez Jr, not John Astin of The Addams Family fame..
John Astin legally adopted him as his son after he and Patty Duke was married, Sean was 18 months old when they married..
Sooo...Sam Gamjees grandma is none other than one of the GOATs..Lucille Ball![]()
I believe farooq is gonna light his ass up when he tries to take off. We haven't seen it yet, but I heard that Farooq is a headhunter and hits like a train.Georgia fan says Stockton is telegraphing where he's going with the ball.
"much has been made of his elongated throwing motion, but i don't think that's the issue. i think it's his feet. when he throws from the pocket, he seemingly always resets his feet towards his target, in a way that very much telegraphs where he's going. i'm not saying he needs to be trying stafford / mahomes style no-look passes, but it just looks methodicaly and predictable, he resets his feet directly towards the target before he unloads almost every time from the pocket.
not sure that can change in a week, but i think there's something to this. he's currently much better throwing on the roll out, just because he's a threat to run AND because he doesn't telegraph his pass in the same way.
anyway, watch that murray breakdown and see if you see what i mean on his feet. it's a big part of why austin peay was all over some of those WR screens and wheel routes, etc."
No doubt in my mind that they hold back certain sets or certain plays from each set against weaker competition, if haven't ran it in the season yet."Holding back" is purely a fan thing. No coach tells his team to play half speed. The do play second or third string when the game is in hand and add wrinkles for each individual came plan , but holding back just doesn't happen. The coaches are not saying, "Alright boys we're gonna go out there and sandbag this week."
Yeah, but if you aren't executing your more basic packages well against weaker comp then your more complicated stuff against tougher teams will be even more difficult to run.No doubt in my mind that they hold back certain sets or certain plays from each set against weaker competition, if haven't ran it in the season yet.
They are searching high and low for anything to complain about. They can't wait to see somebody struggle against Georgia. They are foaming at the mouth to say "I told you so". It's more important to them than winningRemember all those fellas on this board crying about how we downgraded at quarterback hahahahaha where are they now
I don't look at their playcalling, a lineman is not going to hold back and Georgia's o-line looks to have deficiencies. Their d-line has not gotten pressure like they have in the past without blitzing. WGWTFA.
That is true but is mostly because there is a different game plan for each team/game. Obliviously teams can play more base against weaker opponents, even if they know your tendencies, It probably doesn't matter. Whereas against more equally matched or superior competition, throwing in some wrinkles and bucking some tendencies is important. No doubt in my mind that they hold back certain sets or certain plays from each set against weaker competition, if haven't ran it in the season yet.
