Recruiting Forum Football Talk IX

So, according to you, if a so-called insider posts something like, say, "I'm not a fan of Josh Heupel" or "I wasn't impressed with Joey Aguilar yesterday"...everyone else is just supposed to "chill" and not respond, for fear of running an "insider" off. That's absurd, dude.

Nobody drives anyone "away". People choose to leave. If they cant take pushback to their "opinions", right or wrong, that's on them. They shouldn't be posting if they're too thin to handle a bit of resistance. Take this right here for example: you seem to disagree and not care for my thoughts on this matter...you see me tucking tail? Why can't you "just agree to disagree" with me? @KingVFL is a big boy, I'm sure...probably doesn't need dd4me fighting his battles. I think you should just agree to disagree with me, and "move on".
It’s fine. We all just want the Vols to win games and are here for entertainment on that journey.

Aguilar, much better than you expected?

Pretty wild how satisfied most of us are with his performance when you look at his stats and see that he can get a whole lot better.

It's because he looked poised and in command of the offense even when he was missing his throws high. He ran the offense better than anyone since Hendon. So yeah, I get why we are all satisfied even though there is definitely room for improvement.

Aguilar reminds me of a better version of Pavia from Vandy....just without the ego, being a little overweight or a giant douche. Much better overall passer, too.

i dont think the wheels are falling off at BAMA. they have too many good players. SEC is a week to week league. Still have a great chance to make the playoffs at and that is their goal
They didn't play an SEC. They got smoked by a one dimensional fsu team that went 2-10 last year. They might not win 8 games. The wheels don't come off any faster

Man they are down so bad

That fanbase is mostly clueless about why Bama was so dominant.

They think it’s because they’re Bama. Not because Nick Saban essentially controlled the entire state, SEC, and NCAA while paying players and skirting the rules of non-staff assistants actually coaching. He is a good coach made elite by having advantages across the board in everything from officiating to recruiting to strength and conditioning.

Now he’s gone and most of those advantages are neutralized. They’re just another team.

They need to realize that Saban made Alabama and now they are back to how they were in the 80s 90s and 2000s

Bama is melting in real time

My entire adult life has been spent watching Alabama under Nick Saban’s dominance. They say time is cyclical, and once again the Gumps are on the way down while we are rising just like the 90s.

I will savor every second of their downfall like an oasis in the desert.

The only thing that will make this better is a 3TD blowout in Tuscaloosa. I’m not sure what I’ll do with myself if this happens.
