It’s so strange. Guy has been a stone-cold winner at all of his stops. It’s hard to believe he had all of that success and now, once he’s at a place he can really win at, he runs such a slack ship.

Partly true. I think Alabama and Texas both look overrated. Neither of those teams has a case to be ranked ahead of us right now with what they put on the field.

People keep making this argument, but coaching at Bama/any SEC school is nothing like coaching at a PAC-12 school.

Texas defense is legit. Bama, i hope they lose 3x more this season (1 being to big )

I personally like the information you provide even if it’s not always unicorns and rainbows. We’ve played one game against a marginal opponent and it looks like some of our question marks might work out okay. Let’s see how we do against some big boys and go from there. You clearly know some people and bring some good information and hopefully won’t let a few keyboard warriors run you off like they have everyone else with some nuggets. I think the majority of us appreciate what you bring to the board and hope you stay but understand if you say the heck with it. Just my take.

I saw a comical post that is partly true. He basically rode Penix from OC at Indiana all the way to Bama. He didn't recruit the majority of the guys he made rhe playoff with and now he's in recruiting hell. Where if you aren't elite you get poked at. Ala the Ellarbee debates.
You need to be a Pope or Chop level recruiter to get true respect in this league. Fair or unfair.

Dude has a $70Million dollar buyout if they just fire him right now. That's just his money. Factor in coach contracts, the cost of a new staff and NIL it's not pretty---even for Bama. Well over $100Million bucks in play here.

I like the optimism but I would dial it back until we play a decent defense. Syracuse had a good offense but their defense is one of the worst in division 1. I’m encouraged but think we have a lot to prove. Declarations after game one is absolute fools gold. Still absolutely love the positivity though.

Gotta consider what you would have to pay to buyout a new coach too.
