Has the new rule kicked in expanding scholarships to 105 and eliminating all non scholarship positions? If so, nobody’s a walk on now?

I believe the 105 kicks in in 2026.

Let us know what they say. I've had a massive headache behind my left eye 2 different times this week. It was all day Sunday and again on Monday night. The 1st one made me sick at my stomach. I took a migraine pill, but it didn't help, so I drunk a pack of the Alka seltzer sinus tablets and it eased off some then. (I'm in Knoxville and the temps dropped drastically over the weekend. I blamed mine on that)

Pretty surprising how bad we've been at taking sacks the last decade. HH 2021 was actually our worst (36 sacks). And that is by rate, not volume. Meanwhile, we had the #7 offensive scoring...

Dooley years we were top-25 consistently (well, 2 years, no data prior to 2011). Even #1 one year. A lot of good that did us!

Unless we can recruit top-5 OL classes consistently, there will be give and take. We want to take long shots AND heavily prioritize the run. Many OL won't be equally good at both. And your best blocking back is often not your best RB weapon.

I'd say we're doing quite fine though

I think it's cute that the NCAA wanted to give Vandy a glimmer of hope, so they let their QB come back for an extra year he didn't really deserve.

to the point where i saw Chris Lee already mention how they cant ignore it bc the 2 deep next yr will be completely new almost entirely. Losing like 50 players off this roster after the season between the grad student/seniors and thats before they even get to losing a few portal guys which everyone does. Technically Fontenette and Hight could leave for the NFL too if they want. They better get their 5-6 wins now bc its back to 2-3 wins next yr.

I agree with all 5 points and I agree with your son about us beating uga. I also think Peyton Lewis is our best RB and Arion Carter will have an "Al Wilson level" junior season....I really think he's that good. I'm not there yet with MM, but I believe he's got the ability to be all SEC. I think the offensive line has more talent than last season and Heard will look like a totally different player..... I am concerned about the center position. I also think our starting 11 on both sides of the ball will be the best we've had since Heupel has been here and the defense is deeper at every level than we've had. If we avoid injuries at WR and o-line, we'll be hosting a playoff game this season

I think Peyton Lewis has the potential to be like his kin (I really don't know if they are related) Jamal. We will run the ball better than we have in a long time. And the defense is will be committing felonies on mofos all season long. WGWTFA.
