Scary sign when you start talking to yourself.- Rad tech was not given instructions other than "right wrist"
- Rad tech didn't ask me where the suspected injury was
- took 3 images, 2 of which are the same view of the scaphoid bone, the other obscures the scaphoid
- images sent to some physician at a desk somewhere, with no instructions on injury location
- he says "these scans are normal, no injury and no soft tissue damage" after primary care documented significant pain and swelling of wrist and thumb
Still waiting for primary to call me with instructions. As a former athlete who has dealt with all kinds of sores, sprains, strains, breaks, etc I know how this is supposed to/should work. This ain't it.
I long for the days when I could call Franklin Bone and Joint, set an appointment, and see an ortho who will directly give diagnostics and guide the Rad tech through the positions he/she wants to see on scans, and you walk out that day with an answer and treatment.
Red Gatorade sucks anyway. Lemon-Lime and Orange are the only acceptable flavors - old school.I love when I drink something like a Hawaiian Punch and remember about 3/4 of the way through it that red 40 gives me a blistering migraine every time.
Mainly it's red gatorade that does, so hopefully I dodge a bullet on this one
Thank you for the kind words, undeserving, but thank you sir.I think if you had come in and said “Well done, but here’s an even better idea…,” you would have had a good reception. @Volunteer821 is a great guy and avid outdoorsman. No reason to go off on him. You’re a great guy, too.
You need a new pcp insuead of that greedy useless one who only wanted to see you so she could collect extra visit revenue.- Injured wrist yesterday
- Messaged PCP this AM to refer me to an ortho
- PCP says I need to be evaluated by her first
- I left my office near hospital and drove 40 minutes to her office.
- Waited 45 minutes
- She talked to me for 5 minutes saying "its either broken or sprained" and said "we don't do xrays in-house, I'll put an order in at the hospital."
- Drove 40 minutes to hospital
- She forgot to send the order
- Waited 30 minutes before getting ahold of her office
- Get the x-rays done
Waiting on results. But here's the flow chart:
Severe sprain-> ortho
Broken -> ortho

Hey bud, I see no reason to be rude, uncivil, or not respectful towards anyone that means well, and I know you did. I understand your point of view and you helped me realize the need to maybe look at things from a different point of view..........you said it, constructive criticism, I'm also a fan myself.I'm a fan of constructive criticism and will gladly receive it. I think you're right. And I appreciate how @Volunteer821 responded to me.
The p***y generation...they make me wanna puke...the social engineering garbage of a certain side has worked to a tee...just completely freaking castrated a huge portion of the last 2 generations.I had a grown man tell me I hurt his feelings this morning. It's hard for me to process how soft some guys are these days. He has been dragging ass around the shop being a dark cloud and pouting. I told him he needs to bring more Pooh and less Eeyore energy. That's it... Dude has a beard and works on HVAC and got butthurt over that. Probably an aTm fan LOL
