I do think the scheme is an important part of what makes the offense go, especially in 2022. Spreading the field vertically and horizontally, having fast WRs (or at least one burner with great hands), and having an accurate QB who can hit deep balls is basically impossible to consistently defend unless you have an elite pass rush and elite DBs. That's how UGA held us in check in 2022.

But Heupel doesn't have to have all of those to win, as evidenced in 23 and 24. And to me, what he did those seasons basically on the fly is the most impressive thing he has done at UT. More than all of 2022. His offense didn't work and he adapted and still won games. Many, many coaches would have fallen apart or insisted on making their scheme work.

Let’s hope this year “time out management” has improved ….I’ve had to replace so many remotes that’s my only issue with him outside of the offense being asleep the last two years.

I would right click the post count at the top right of the post... Bookmark link to a file for such things with a description. Not that I've done that or anything.

On the other hand I forgot my ticket at home, drove to Knoxville, and had to buy a second one at the gate from a scalper for an LSU game way back in the day. $5. Why? I bought at kickoff, we sucked (on our way to a 0-6 start), it started pouring rain, and the game was on TV (which wasn’t always the case in those days). I was rooting the boys on as best as I could in my poncho, but we got crushed.

I don’t ever want another $5 ticket.

Good teammate doesn’t always equal good leader. Nico may not have been toxic and got along well with the team, but he definitely didn’t strike me as having leadership qualities like rallying the team, leading at workouts, etc

ETSU, UAB, and NM St will be more affordable. And I've had a great time at games like that back when I did have season tickets.

The least expensive place to see us play an SEC game is prolly at KenSucky or at Starkville. I wouldn't sleep on the Syracuse game, either, for a bigger opponent. And it is really fun to win on the road, as most of you prolly know.

I purchase the best seats in section W or X at those games for the price of an upper decker at an SEC game.

Every elite 11 QB prospect is a 7 on 7 phenom.

Im over Nico. Im ready to rock with JA. But Nico played normal high school football and did it at a high level. I dont really understand 7 on 7 but every top rated QB, WR, and DB are participating in 7 on 7

7v7 = flag football = NFL.. I was glad when the NFL WENT flag for the Pro-Bowl, finally they admit it.

I’m curious, what are they saying about his leadership on the field? I always felt Nico’s presence on the field didn’t scream leadership in the way Hooker and Milton did, although I would have preferred Milton be less goofy at times.

Setting aside all the noise, I don't think you can ever go wrong putting the guy out there that the rest of the team agrees is the best at the position.
