As long as there are 20,000 Tennessee fans on the waiting list for season tickets, the prices will go up. That inevitably means some legacy ticket holders will decide it’s no longer right for them, and they will cycle out.When they can't pack the stadium due to "the price of success", then what happens? Did you read my comment about SEC games being pay per view only? It sounds crazy now but I can see that coming down the pike too. If nothing changes with NIL and these coaching salaries, then I can see it happening in 5 years. Would you have thought 10 years ago, we'd have college QBs making $6+ million a year? Something has to be done to or college football will die. We'll have a minor league for the NFL with 32 teams or so and then a bunch of "mid majors".
