This. I can tell who was not paying to travel when we sucked. LolFor everyone complaining about ticket prices, unfortunately that is the price literally of success. I remember the days buying tickets at half face value a week before the game because we were going to lose. I like winning better.
Everything is more expensive these days....either pay it or dont...no other optionHow about another tweet by our awesome AD to people that have had season tickets for years are unable to renew because of money..... "Oh, that's unfortunate. We are deeply sorry that you can no longer afford to go to the games. Well good news... you can still support the BIG ORANGE by contributing to the NIL fund. By the way, we inked a huge streaming contract with ESPN and our SEC games will be pay per view only. I love you, VOL Family. GO VOLS. XOXO.Danny!!!"
College football is broken. It cannot survive like this.

Do any of y'all remember all the posts about how going to a game wasn't even worth it anymore? With the widescreens at home and the amenities. Lol it was so many posts back then on why buying tickets was overrated. Dirt cheap seats back then too. Lol
FTR as a frugal guy the price of everything hurts me these days. A night out is 150 easy now. That would have been a whole weekend budget a few years ago .
When they can't pack the stadium due to "the price of success", then what happens? Did you read my comment about SEC games being pay per view only? It sounds crazy now but I can see that coming down the pike too. If nothing changes with NIL and these coaching salaries, then I can see it happening in 5 years. Would you have thought 10 years ago, we'd have college QBs making $6+ million a year? Something has to be done to or college football will die. We'll have a minor league for the NFL with 32 teams or so and then a bunch of "mid majors".For everyone complaining about ticket prices, unfortunately that is the price literally of success. Video footage of DW actually pissing in @TN-POSSUM's cheerios...How about another tweet by our awesome AD to people that have had season tickets for years are unable to renew because of money.....
