Tried this out this morning with a breakfast steak but scaled down the herbs a bit. Only had some salt, pepper, & dried rosemary. Had really good results. Very tasty & medium rare to a "T ". Will cook steak this way again. Thanks.

No problem! I think it’s the best way to cook a steak by far. I think next time I might try searing on my grill instead of on my stove and increase sear temp. I was able to get a decent crust to form last night and thought I had it hot enough but I think it should have been even hotter and probably would have been even better.
