Recruiting Forum Football Talk IX

Well when it comes to lifting more, the extra inches definitely play a part of the movement lol
Yet the hecklers never seem to accept that excuse lol. "Only 75 in each hand huh? Well that's a good warm up..."

Maybe what they say about our offense is true
I'm not saying it is, because I don't really think it is.

But God forbid... We had an offense that took average QBs and made them look like superstars. How terrible that would be 😂.

Which is why the narrative is and always will be overblown. Can that stuff be used to negative recruit? Of course. But from a fan's perspective, guys who are put in positions to look much better than they are is what those in the Midwest would call "turning chicken **** into chicken salad". It's not an indictment of the staff. It's the opposite.

Might try some overhead KB carries at the gym to go along with farmers Carries
Something I like to work in, get a barbell(broomstick will work) loop a band through the KB handle and hang them from the ends of the BB press over and walk. The weight(start out light) will strengthen the major muscle groups and the KBs constant motion will engage all the smaller, often overlooked muscles. It’s also a great warm up for heavy shoulder work.

The Browns are about to experience why Sheduer was still there in the 5th. Not because he's a 5th round talent, because he isn't.

Dude was running with the 4's. Two QBs get hurt. Which how do you have two QBs pull hammy's? Anyway. Goes out there and makes some plays against some future dishwashers. And now the Browns literally will be asked when Sheduer is gonna start until they cut him. Dude threw a run of the mill in route touchdown that got a breaking news banner on ESPN lol

The first TD throw would’ve been picked the other way against starters for sure

Really dont know what you've got till it's gone...

I understand the importance of screen passes to the function of this offense...but holy **** does it suck to watch lol
Screen passes are great (in moderation).

We were nowhere near as reliant on them when Hooker was at the controls. It was completely driven by who the pilot was.

Don't forget this was carolina, the worst defense in the league. So the backups to the worst defense lol

For decades, I've been more of a fan of full body workouts. I pretty much do a slightly altered Pavel RKC. Mainly:

Kettlebell cleans/overhead presses
pulls of some type like bent over rows, etc
kettlebell swings or front squats

Once a week, I work snatches in. That's M/W/F.

On "off" days, I do Turkish Getups, kettlebell stairs, etc...

None of the above ever to failure.

12 ounce curls. Works for me. 🍺🍺
