If he nods then Spillman will be there like a bull in a china shop. Seriously, we are talented and deep, and getting deeper each class. I can’t wait to see this defense tbh, what Heup has/is doing on the defensive side of the ball is nothing short of magnificent. If he brings in a Corey Redmond once Willie retires it would rival those Bama/UGA championship defenses. Got to get to the point the Turrentines of the world don’t start in your defensive backfield. Combay and Wyatt will fix that though. Our linebacker corp could be one of the best in the country. I think Telander is being slept on.
This is true, but I don't believe it's what they are arguing. They receive 9.3% of revenue while the NBA (and all other major league men's sports) receive a roughly 50% split of league revenues.
I don't really watch and don't know their financials. Yes, the league makes significantly less. I think they just want more of "what the league does make." They aren't asking for a salary like an NBA All-Star.
I'm not sure why you would want that. Would probably mean Telander is injured. Spillman will play, but Telander is the leader of the LB room. I think we're going to see that early on.It’s going to be very good. And I hope Spillman plays more than Telander. Can’t teach speed. But it’s a good problem to have with all the athleticism in that room.
Either way, all three will play a lot. Telander's speed scares me, but he's a smart football player and I think that will make up for it. Spillman has the highest ceiling to me.I'm not sure why you would want that. Would probably mean Telander is injured. Spillman will play, but Telander is the leader of the LB room. I'd also bet Telander is faster and significantly better than last year.
We're going to be filthy on defense. Even Utley and Campbell are likely to see the field early.Either way, all three will play a lot. Telander's speed scares me, but he's a smart football player and I think that will make up for it. Spillman has the highest ceiling to me.
It's going to be pretty easy for them, since no one will be able to block our front 7...
Listening to Garner praise Dom Bailey as the MVP...already knowing how good Eason is, Moi is and Josh Joseph's.
Herring is where he wants to be physically now. More confident. Ross has bought in and focuses on recovery because of how hard he plays. Tyree Weathersby is apparently that dude. Then everyone else with those stud freshman are fighting for spots. Super deep and talented once again.
Wouldn't shock me if Samp is a pro bowler one day. If he gets more involved in the passing game and isn't super beat up all the time he will do it.Something we haven't discussed: Quinshon Judkins got arrested a few weeks ago while working out a new contract with the Browns... now he's still unsigned and undergoing the legal stuff.
That means the Browns' RBs are Jerome Ford and Dylan Sampson. Ford will probably get the nod as the vet, but Sampson is impressing big time. Looks like a 1A/1B deal. Sampson likely early down back and Ford on 3rd.
Dye too probably. We're going to be filthy on defense. Even Utley and Campbell are likely to see the field early.
And yet, if one keeps up with any other SEC team, as I do, they would see the same kind of concerns and precautions.I feel like we are pretty banged up right now for it to only be day 6 of fall camp.
