Somehow it's gotten worse...
we can all agree there. recruiting has to get better, but at some point you have to think Georgia, Turds, Bama all deal with pre madonnas.I really don't care if he does. I'd like to see what he can do, but the constant drama is tiring. I'd much rather see the guys who show up every day and work for the the playing time they get.
So I heard Swain talking about the Boo situation while I was out to the doctor. Apparently, Boo is now represented by Omar Cooper. Cooper also represents Ace Bailey and was the one who told Utah not to draft him, only for Utah to draft him and call his bluff. Apparently, the guy is full of bad advice. Swain wasn't sure if Boo had burned all of his bridges or not. Mentioned Boo would probably need to give a sincere apology to his teammates to work things out. So personally, I'm not sure what to make of everything, but I'm willing to meet Omar Cooper at the Papermill Waffle House.

NCAA almost needs to require a license to serve as an agent for student athletes. Requires classes and such and say athletes cannot be represented by an agent who is not approved by the NCAA. And charge a phat fee for agents to get approved.“Power (money) tends to corrupt, and absolute power (money) corrupts absolutely.” – Lord Acton
I hope all of these sleazeball agents get theirs one day. The NCAA can go to hell too for being ultimately responsible for it all. They prey on these young men, who many come from disadvantaged families, and get in their ear and sow discontent. This sport is being ruined by this and all anyone’s done for 5 years now is wonder who’s going to fix it.
Yup. Want to fix anything like this quick first you gotta take the money out of it. It shouldn’t be this freaking profitable to help a college kid find a new school. I understand it’s all a business, but these agents very clearly have never had the players best interests in mind, never mind the sport itself.NCAA almost needs to require a license to serve as an agent for student athletes. That where theres a professional and operational standard for communication and advising from NCAA and school collectives to athletes/agents.
Also requires collectives to be approved so athletes and schools and donors don't get screwed by sleezeballs.
Lol no doubt this ends well…So I heard Swain talking about the Boo situation while I was out to the doctor. Apparently, Boo is now represented by Omar Cooper. People get a little money from some good commissions and then get lazy and wonder where it all went. Boo is not an NFL lock. He better get to work.Basilio’s summary of the Boo situation doesn’t sound terrible. Player leadership is frustrated because Boo is mailing it in. Not showing up to workouts, meetings, etc. Apparently this was an issue last season with Pearce also just going through the motions. It’s why his season wasn’t as impressive as many expected, and why he sat out a half at one point. Some guys get a little money and take their foot off the gas. The players don’t want to see a repeat and are trying to get Boo to correct it.
In my opinion it seems very fixable but will be determined by Carter.
