Per Ben McKee:

This is all on Boo Carter and his camp. Their priorities are all out of whack. Tennessee — both coaches and players — are attempting to hold him accountable for his actions, but it doesn't sound like Carter has responded appropriately to it.
Great. Just great. Wish Tennessee would have held on to some of the secondary that entered the transfer portal.

Apparently swain just said on his show boo mom called out the staff on instagram reply
Someone said maybe it’s a coaching problem when referring to Nico leaving and now boos trouble and she said finally someone said it

See ya boo
Don’t let the door hit you in the ass on the way out
Nico’s dad = Boo’s mom

This sounds a heck of a lot like that 10% problem where a few people want to do as they please. They'll blame the 90% when the reality is all those fingers are pointing back. Pearce hurt his own damn stock doing this game. Now that the truth on him has leaked out that part is obvious and sounds eerily similar to this one with Boo. AP just said on a pod within the last month that the amount of offense Boo played was up to him, but immediately followed that up with he'd likely be limited to a package. That says a lot looking back.

So the question on coaches is are they giving too much room to the 10%?

I trust CJH to handle this correctly with minimum damage to the brand. The culture he has created will be consistent and if necessary POWER T will be protected. He will do what he does with class. Beginning to look like another young man taking bad advice.

Sadly the biggest damage might be the fodder our posting and calling friends provide with unnecessary caustic attacks. Equal poor judgement has no value add to the program. Application of the everybody has them clause does not really help.

JD has UT going 9-3 with losses to Georgia, Alabama, and Oklahoma (doesn’t think UT can keep up offensively in this game).

I could see it. If we hit on one of the QB’s and they surprise it could be an even better year. I’m not sold on any of Bama, UGA or OU’s QB’s either though.

The ones I’ve read, including one from On3, said he’s already graduated from BYU so he is indeed transferring to Tulane as a grad transfer. Totally different situation than Boo

Doesn't need to be a grad transfer according to this : How can Jake Retzlaff bypass the transfer portal? Ex-BYU QB takes unconventional route by withdrawing

Navigating NCAA rules without the transfer portal

"Retzlaff's path is uncommon but within NCAA guidelines. By officially withdrawing from BYU and enrolling at another school, he avoids the transfer portal and its rules. NCAA regulations do not require players to enter the portal to maintain eligibility at a new institution. "
