Recruiting Forum Football Talk IX

While this is true, he does post real information usually.. it’s just stolen.
No. He posts a bunch of shite and some comes true and some not. He is no better than our worst beat writers. They're all in it for their personal clout, often at the detriment of the program, and should be treated as such. We just have too many negas that give them more attention than they deserve.

He does what most sensationalist journalists do.. reads something true, inserts drama to stretch it and reposts.

Basilio operated on real leaks before, but DW stopped the flow of it. Not sure where his information comes from now.

Does anybody hear ruck? If so, recommendations on a backpack and weights?
I have a pack from GoRuck

I have the Ruck Plate Carrier 3.0, Long.
I have both a 30lb plate and a 45lb plate.

I’ve been rucking pretty much every day since beginning of February. Started with 30lbs and built up duration/distance. Have started mixing in the 45lbs plate a few days a week as well.

I do 3-4miles 5 days a week and 6-8miles 2 days a week.

Happy Tuesday

July 22, 2025: You have made some headway, but you must not stop here. Continue to press on until you are sure that you have done all you can do with your current dilemma. The Lord is with you to give you wisdom and show you the way to complete success. Isaiah 41:10 Fear not, for I am with you; be not dismayed, for I am your God. I will strengthen you, Yes, I will help you, I will uphold you with My righteous right hand.

College ball just needs to accept it's NFL Jr. and adopt their contract philosophy.

Miss mandatory workouts or practices = not paid
Miss games without injuries (holdouts etc.) = not paid
And instead of open transfers as we have now they're treated like free agents....if they're not unrestricted (good academic standings, during an appropriate transfer period, met all appearance requirements etc. for NIL) then whatever team/school tries to snag 'em has to reimburse the school they are leaving.

You think?!? That's exactly why they did it.

They've always been a jealous bunch of narcissistic morons, but this past run has made them extra annoying. Alabama needs a few losing seasons and go through 2-3 more coaching changes to be brought back to earth. Losing to vandy, oklahoma, and TENNESSEE was a good start to the Deboer era. A sub 500 season would've really push them over the edge. That's what I'm hoping for.
I am diabolical in my desire for their demise.

florida state W
LA-Monroe L
Wisconsin W
uga W
vandy L
missouri W (just don’t want drink to celebrate)
Tennessee embarrassing, demoralizing L (think 41-14 or worse)
usc W (same reason as mizzou)
lsu W (see mizzou and usc)
oklahoma L
Eastern Illinois L (what better way to celebrate homecoming)
auburn L (4 OT debacle where the end of regulation is a 3-3 tie with the final score of 3-6)

😈😈😈😈😈😈😈

Every time they start to have hope, another leg sweep type loss. If you look closely both their wins and losses help the Tennessee team. 😎

Meanwhile at Tennessee

17-0 🤠

Nice thank you. Definitely was seeing some reviews about GoRuck being a good brand

When you started, how far would you go with the 30lb?

Over in the off topic forums there’s one called “the pub”. in that forum there’s a thread called “ eat right swim, bike what’s your workout plan”. Many replies might find somewhere there. There also used to be a “what did you do for exercise today” something like that. Everyone would post their runs and chat about upcoming things.

Summary: Boo has missed some summer workouts and team leadership is not happy about it.

Yea sounds like Boo hasn’t been all in this summer and team leaders don’t want to deal with it anymore, especially during the season (did it last year with another high profile guy).

Seems like a nothing burger to me if this is all it is. Can be smoothed over easily IMO.

When we were preparing for the Philmont trek with Scouts in 2019, many started with 20 lbs in their backpack and then increased their weight.

I knew that when we went to Philmont that my backpack would weigh 60+ lbs. so that is what I started with. To save money and not tear up our packs, we bought rice bags at 10 lbs and 20 lbs, wrapped them in towels so that they would not shift. Then when training was over, we could eat the rice. 🤠

Our week at Philmont, I clocked 83 miles. 60 miles with my pack. It weighed 65 lbs without water supply. I carried 5 liters of water as hydration is the key for mountain backpacking. During that week, I lost 10 lbs. (mostly fat weight) 😎

Unfortunately, I have since recovered my lost fat and added another 20 lbs.
