Had a national champ the last year of the programIts a revenue sport at PSU, and they've put more wrestlers on World and Olympic teams than any other school by a mile since Cael has been there. Historically, Adidas was the primary wrestling brand but they've lost it in the last 8-10 years to a smaller brand called Rudis. Having Penn State in the fold and signing these future Olympians is huge for that sector of their brand and marketing.
If only UT would restart their highly successful wrestling program![]()

Your wish is granted!I want him to look really bad
Would be interesting to see how many wrestling and baseball programs are self funding and compare with womenās basketball. Some of the āminorā sports have some dedicated fans.Wrestling is classified as a non-revenue sport at most NCAA Division I schools, meaning it typically generates far less income than expenses.
Penn State is a great wrestling school but I don't see them getting a Tennessee sized agreement. I could see them getting one better than the Nike deal they have.
I see the similarity to Brian Kelly, Butch Jones was a lower form of Kelly. DeBoer is not cut out for the the SEC. I don't think Kelly is either, time will tell but I think he is too much of a weeny.Nah he's Brian Kelley more than Butch Jones. He'll at least beat most teams he has more talent than.
That would be a dream come true. That moron Dweebo in charge at Alabubba. Absolutely freaking awesome. I would definitely need to seek medical attention for an erection last more than four hours.Just read that Alabama had to pay a 12 million dollar buyout to Washington to hire Kalen Deboer. Dabo Swinney has an "Alabama" clause written into his contract which amounts to a 7.5 million dollar buyout were Alabama to come calling. I've seen lots of Bama fans clamoring for Dabo lately...
I mean, I wouldn't say all that, but Cuse and VT are very comparable. Tech may be a little better, they look more athleticThey were rewarded. They moved up more spots than we did, yet struggled mightily playing what was a worse team. I bet Syracuse beats VT by 20+.
The Battle of Chattanooga was practically fought starting from Nashville. My area was a battlefield and I live 20 miles from Chattanooga. Pretty much Nashville to Atlanta was a straight line hot war zone. That is plenty...the battlefield is nowhere near as spread out and complicated as the Battle of Chickamauga, which is really just part of a series of battles for Chattanooga....which I have heard some historians categorize as a whole as The Battle of Chattanooga. It was a sprawling affair....Gettysburg is not like that at all imo....it was very easy to visualize to me because you can see most of the battlefield
Uhmm...I just had a Mandela effect thing happen to me, I distinctly remember going into a room at the end of the Visitor Center museum tour and hearing Hal Holbrook recite the Gettysburg Address, I remember how moving it was....and I just Googled it and it says that it was Morgan Freeman that recited it in the documentary they show in the visitor center theater called "A new birth of freedom"...evidently I'm not the only one that has googled this...that crap freaks me out..![]()

I don't care how fast his legs or arm are, the important thing is how fast is his brain. He has already demonstrated that it is light years faster than the last two qbs we have had.I'd say he's not really far away from a 4.6. Maybe he just looks faster because he picks the right time to take off, but he didn't move around like Peyton when he tried to run.
Besides that, you can see his experience in how he stays calm and steps into the pocket without going straight into panic mode as soon as the 1st wr is covered. If you watch closely, you can see him slide through his reads. . . but instead of jumping straight from one to the next, he uses his head to hold the lbs or safeties for a second and makes the throw with defenders breathing down his neck.
The boy can play ball. I just hope he keeps producing the same as the schedule gets tougher and the pressure ramps up.
I think he really grasps how big of an opportunity he has here and is gonna make the most of it at all costs.
