Lot of DEFENSIVENESS here...if you don't remember IT DIDN'T HAPPEN...No judgments on here lil buddy :)

Disagree

Cheating on your wife with another man is sick and disgusting. I can have my opinion and you can stuff your judgement talk. If it is disgusting to me then so be it. If it is not to you, then your opinion.

Not really sure you can say one way or the other. Prater was in the cold but had thin air to help him. Dempsey had a warm day but had heavy, humid air. Pros and cons to each situation.

Agree. I think any kick that far is quiet a feat. Unless of course u got 20 MPH winds or something. lol

Also....
Peyton Manning has set a Broncos single-game record with his 38th completion of the game

Could have been at least 45 with all of the drops they had. Kind of looked like Auburn playing us. If they do what they are capable of doing they would have put 70 on the Titans.

Most everyone throughout the country has begged for a play off for decades. Next year we finally get it.

I have been against it for years because it lessons the significance of the regular season.

This year we would have a repeat of the iron bowl and that would be plain ignorant. That game has already been played.

I for one would love for the BCS to stay

and so it begins...

In other news, I'm glad the Vikings finally got the memo about giving CP more than 2 passes a game. It's about to be showtime.

That hitch he took to the house, there was no one within 5 yards of him. Could have turned off the clip right there. It doesn't matter if it's one yard past the LOS. CP gon CP. Loved watching him cut like he always does, not even caring about the snow that was making clowns sprawl all over the field. :eek:lol:

The issue that bothers me about a playoff is that we're asking 18-22 year old college kids to play an extra game which would make 15 total and pushing their season to about 5.5 months of the year, counting practice time. You're also asking fans to come up with a large sum of money on a short notice (maybe twice) and try to get reservations on a short notice and in a lot of cases get off from work on a short notice (again maybe twice) to get to see the final game. The game sponsors don't really care because they will try to sell all the tickets to corporate sponsors and will not worry if the team fans get to see them. This could lead to sold out games with 30,000 empty seats and 30,000 team fans wanting to see the game but having no available tickets. I may be confused as to how all this is going to be set up and I hope I am but it looks like a money thing to me.

IMO the SEC should eliminate the SEC title game if winning national championships is the goal.

Just 1 question. How does a 4 team playoff lower the significance of the regular season? If you lose too many games in the regular season, then you won't be going to the playoffs.

That's easy!

The Bama auburn game this year would be treated as if it didn't exist.

Losing that game should end bama title hopes and next year it would have been meaningless

Everyone that has a twitter account go follow my account @vol_athletics, decided to make one about all of UT sports!

This is a retarded argument to me. The NFC and AFC play each other in season. Say if you get a barn burner between (I know they don't play each other this season, it is just an example of what could happen) Seattle and Denver in the 12th game of the season. You wouldn't want to see a rematch in the Super Bowl?

I just love the do or die feel for the regular season.

No system is perfect but the BCS has nearly gotten it right every year.

This year the BCS is far better than forcing a Bama/auburn rematch which the playoff season would force

Welllllllllllllllllll, see the problem with that train of thought is that there are a plethora more of college than NFL teams. Not too mention in division NFL teams play each other twice anyways

Every other division in CFB and JUCO has playoffs and has had them for a long time. Why doesn't that bother you? The playoffs are exciting to watch. I have always wanted a playoff and now I am getting one. Screw the bowls and all the obstructionists who have blocked this for so long. I it and hope it goes to 8 teams soon. That will be fun.
