Prior to the season I really thought it'd be Bailey vs Hooker. We picked up Milton and I was somewhat excited for him as a potential starter of the future.

To me when you have a few years of ball under your belt "stats don't lie" and Hooker before even arriving had a career with 63.1% 2894 yards 22 TDs and 7 INTs while adding 1k rushing and another 15 TDs. To me that was more impressive than any tape of big deep throws from Milton or anything Bailey had done.

I'm a tad disappointed Bailey didn't have the goods to compete for QB2 though, but it is what it is.

All I heard about Bailey from fans was if he didn’t start then he would transfer to a team like Georgia or Florida and we would regret it…it looks like those ppl were totally right about that kids talent

Maurer another bogeyman story.

And it took him a couple weeks to get rolling after he got the starting job

Lol i was like

Hell naw on Hooker lol

But if you just watched game film on Hendon compared to Joe and Harrison then no question you would have leaned with Hendon

If Hooker had been given the reins like Milton in fall, he probably could have developed the rapport with Velus and Ced pretty early on. I guess he just didn’t show it in practice. I get it though. I’m just glad Heupel didn’t ride his mistake right off the cliff with the rest of the team.

Hooker had all of spring…. Summer……… even fall camp they all rotated…. It wasn’t till Milton was named the starter that he took over reps with the ones..They didn’t truly start trusting Hooker till the Missouri game and he really took off from there.

Yep we have a coach who isn't completely clueless

My uncle who played baseball at UT, the reason me and anyone else in my family is here has been diagnosed with lung and liver cancer. Don’t know what stage yet, but I just got that news. I have no idea what to even think
Give it to God and trust Him with the outcome. Praying for you.

has anyone mentioned he's 5'9", scrappy, and not afraid of contact?
Dunno but they’ve mentioned he is really good at hiding in bathrooms like 700 times….
They went from talking ad nauseum about Fulky having his AARP card and being older than half the NBA to ZZ playing outside in NYC and stealing train rides.

My wife is a surgical NP and this is roughly her experience as well. The vast majority of the surgeons she has worked with have a combination of narcissism and autism (or at least some degree of sociopathy/utter lack of empathy) that makes them very good at their jobs and very awful as human beings.
Biggest jerk in the entire hospital where my wife works is a general surgeon. He left his wife to marry a nurse who also left her husband. The surgeon is about 35 - 40 years her senior. You see their pictures you think it's an old man posing with his granddaughter. I'm amazed at how poorly he treats people that work there. His patients love him though.

My wife learned in clinicals about doctors not caring for people. Had a girl come in that had been in a wreck. Girl was conscious and talking. They ordered a chest xray for her. When they rolled her on her side to put the cassette under her a rib that had been broken by the steering wheel punctured her heart. She said the ER doc acted like it was the biggest inconvenience for him to actually work on her. Like how dare you bother me while I'm doing nothing. He made very little effort to help her. Called her time of death and went back to his break like it was nothing.

We lived in Knoxville ‘97-2000 for my wife’s Pediatric residency.
During that time I was one of the doctors for Dollywood. At the beginning of each season, they would have me come up and watch all their shows. I would identify areas or activities of each show that had a high risk of injury.

Dolly was always in the Christmas season production. I was previewing the shows when she walks out on stage. She looks out and says that she needs our doctor to come up on stage. I go up on stage and she says Doc, I need your help. I need you to figure out why my back hurts. Then she gets a mischievous smile and says that you can’t blame these (pointing at her chest. (She was trying to playfully embarrass me in front of the performers). I said actually, I was going to blame your high heels. She laughed, gave me a hug and confessed that she was just having fun at my expense…I responded that I would still need to examine her to make sure AND then I turned red. When she saw how red my face was, she fell out laughing. Her laugh is contagious and genuine.
🤠
Soooooo....... 👀

did you touch 'em? 😬

I just can’t wrap my head around what’s going on down there. Is it boosters trying to use the change in President to create chaos and get a new guy because they’re mad they couldn’t complete the Steele coup d’état?
It's nice to be able to sit back and see another school go thru Chaos!

I have two members of my immediate family who are ER physicians and some of the kindest people I know. But the things they see in the ER require that they develop a tremendously thick skin and an ability to not internalize the horrors of their job, and this often comes across as aloofness or a lack of compassion.
