This NIL to HS Seniors stuff will slow down when some of these business owners pay players who turn out to not contribute to their University, it's kind've like back when NFL Rookies used to make as much as ALL-PRO's on their rookie contracts... The NIL free-market will self correct itself, it'll just take a couple years

Clemson is such a dumpster fire right now and having lived in the Carolinas since 2014 and dealing with their obnoxious bandwagon fans - I’m here for it.

This doesn’t even take into account how beneficial this is for our attempt to rise up.

I grew up in SC. My sister and her side of the family are Clemson fans. They spent Thanksgiving complaining about their 9-3 season and the direction of the program.

I asked them if they knew Clemson would have 8 losing seasons in 13 years, would they watch pretty much every game?

The answer was a resounding no.

I expect the fanbase to shrink fast if things continue to go south.

Just because we won’t pay a truck load of cash to a one year rental doesn’t mean we aren’t trying and that we don’t want to win either. Also doesn’t mean our NIL stuff is wrong and people aren’t pulling in the same direction. Guy likes to stir up vol fans. Jumbo can go 8-4 and under achieve but nothing is said because he apparently is throwing money. The guy seems dumb and all he cares about is who is throwing cash. Cares nothing about what’s the best situation for the player.

I'm not being a jerk to you, but we will see how you feel when we are relegated to the bottom of the SEC recruiting rankings.

Don't blame the coaches like a lot of our fans are...they are bringing a knife to a gunfight.

You will know things have changed if/when we start landing truly high profile athletes from the portal and from HS.
