The post-Twitter/blog CFB media have been conditioned to point and laugh at Tennessee. To their credit, we made it extremely easy. Then you have this echo chamber of a whole generation of (younger but active) CFB fans that think they're joining in on the fun, or part of a historical long-running joke that makes them look like they're a seasoned fan of the sport.

Not to mention that every fanbase with a Tiger mascot has a program that DEPENDS on Tennessee being bad. And the teams that finally got out from under us that want to see us sink to the bottom of the ocean.

This "everything sucks, but nothing sucks as bad as Tennessee" act is so played out. Can't wait to watch this sport shed a whole subset of "media members" that couldn't hack it reporting on anything else.

Tennessee literally brought it on themselves. If it was Florida or Georgia or Alabama being utterly incompetent for 15 years like us we'd be doing the same thing to them

I don’t think the admin truly understands yet that this fanbase has been slowly going away and they are tired of being taken advantage of for the last fifteen years. The product on the field has been embarrassing and raising prices will only make people want to watch the games form their home anyways. The people who will pay for it are the businesses because they use the games for clients, recruiting, and what not.

This is one game I can wait on. Who knows, maybe we pull off a miracle and make it competitive. But odds are we are about to get wiped and I'm not sure Hooker gives us a chance to actually win, unless he can actually pull off a ZERO TO game. Have to see it first.

Please god let's see it 🥴

just asked and found some potentially bad news: don’t take this to the bank at all but what he knows is Tillman was in rehab some this week and chatter is that he may miss today….just chatter so nothing definite….. he is pretty sure that everyone else is healthy and good to go….. he didn’t see Bumphus personally but thinks he is playing….. did note that Mitchell, the offensive line guys, Hyatt, and small were all practicing as normal.

This. I know DW was good at UCF and carries a highly held last name, but he needs to be careful or this fanbase is going to erode before any coach gets a chance to build. This is UCF and he isn't going to be able to control things like he could there

I can’t give them away to clients. They rather not go anymore.

Bad thing about jacking up prices before the product improves, is that nobody will want to buy. Oh well, I guess there’ll be a lot of nice looking empty seats.
