SIAP, but got a good laugh from this

Sab ‏@Sabanocchio
I feel like the Robin Hood of Vol info. I don't believe you should have to pay for information. And many can't afford but want to know.

Their whole back and forth banter last night was comical on both sides. Dorks arguing with other dorks via twitter.

The kid went through what, 2 coaching changes,,2 staff upheavals, a broken thumb, no running game one year and no defense the next year, a narcissist as a head coach, red dog-orange dog, Jantzen and DaRick being booted, a psycho fan base - but still managed one of the most prolific offenses UT has ever fielded. Yet you have the stones to call him immature. Give the kid a break. I think he will represent UT proudly despite all the crap tossed his way.

Tennessee's Bray accused of throwing beer bottles on parked cars
UT QB Bray Heading To Court For “Hot Dogging” On Jet Ski

These are not things that you typically see from mature people. I think he will end up representing us well at the next level, but I don't see how it can be disputed that he has some growing up to do which is one thing keeping NFL team a little leery of him.

How cowed are we with political correctness and the notion of maturity? Next thing you know the FBI will be raiding frat houses.

the stones? lol.

yea man. that takes a lot of stones. i pointed out a fact. look at the facts...

i do not know tyler personally...do not wish too. he was a vol for three years and i supported him fully.

he is a professional now, and therefore a public figure open to scrutiny.

again, i sincerely wish him the best. i hope the sob breaks every passing record known.

but, he acted very immaturely during his college career. and, actions speak louder than words. specially when ur the cap'n.

sometimes in society and beyond if there was more accountability and we stopped making excuses for peoples ACTIONS, and held them accountable for them. then things might change positively coach. im all for pumping sunshine and rainbows when needed.

You have to be able to read defenses in the NFL. Bray isn't very good at it

Bray will probably be the next Arian Foster and teams will use his experience here and how he was treated to recruit against us and VN will wonder why we can't land elite QB recruits.

(mostly kidding.)

Gronkowski seems to get away with it. Bray doesn't have off the field issues, teams don't need to worry about him doing anything lasting to hurt himself or the team. He's a kid, he acted like a kid a couple times but really didn't do anything that bad.

His bigger problem seems to be his over reliance on physical ability instead of technique and beating the defense with his brains. I think that'll drop him to the 2nd round unless he just destroys everyone at the combine.

How is it that he added so much weight in so short of time? Was our strength coach that bad that he couldn't put weight on him, or was Bray lazy until his paycheck depended on it?

unless tyler has somehow overcome 1000's of years of evolution seemingly in an instant.

id say its either mcdonalds, or, the sylvester stallone effect.

Ainge is making some great points on how to keep players eligible.

His two main points:

Have the smarter players on the team tutor the players who struggle in the classroom. That teaches accountability because you'll listen to your "brother" before you listen to a random student who was assigned to tutor you.

Have bigger rewards for Academic All-Americans/All SEC. Let them run through the T by themselves at the end of the year.

My estimated math has him gaining about 1/3 pound of body weight for each week he was at tennessee

Bray didn't respect the last staff(can't say I blame him) which is why I think he didn't work hard. Is that an excuse? No not at all but enormous gains can be made when a person's body starts to do something it's not accustomed to.

I'm sure if he hasn't already discussed this with CBJ, he will. From what I gather they talk fairly often.

That would be the biggest red flag for me if true. If a guy only puts in work when it's convenient or when he likes a staff, I wouldn't spend a first round pick on him.

#Vols @UTCoachJones addressing the team, tells them he will be with E.Berry @Stuntman1429 in Nashville tomorrow.

Reeves-Maybin, along with fellow newcomers Riyahd Jones and Lemond Johnson could make for an almost entirely new-look Vols secondary this spring from the unit that closed the 2012 season.

Also, don't sleep on Channing Fugate making noise at the linebacker spot after a year to embrace the move from fullback, and a faster, sleeker, more streamlined A.J. Johnson continues to show signs, we're told, of becoming a more complete, all-around player at linebacker instead of just a tackling machine. We're hearing stories of Johnson adopting more verbal leadership as well, not being afraid to call out teammates in these pre-spring drills.

Justin Hunter checked in at 6-4, 196, with 9 3/ 8 hands and 33 2/8 arms.

Cordarrelle Patterson checked in at 6'1 7/8" and 216 pounds, per @BryanBroaddus. No issues there.
