Agreed, I don't think anyone could look at the situation and how it played out and come to any other conclusion unless they have an agenda.

I wasn't super excited about Heupel but still like the hire a lot more than if it had been Elliott or Franklin. E didn't have any HC experience, which is especially important with this hire. Plus he could have been another Pruitt, success with good players already in place. And Franklin is just an ass. Hiring him would have been asking for trouble down the road IMO.
