yes... but after that NO... a few hours later we up the anti, an hour or 2 later his dad convinced him to stay and a few pundits were saying it’s looking good on the Ohio st side of things and now it’s we will see in the morning! So all in all you didn’t miss a damn thing lol

I’m just dumbfounded that he didn’t already have an idea of a guy at DC that he could get. It just gives more into the he had no idea he was getting this job and DW threw it in his lap when it went south in the search. Typically a new Hc hire has pretty good idea of his coordinators and then it’s filling out rest of staff thst takes longer

I still don’t believe we went from talking to AW to offering another guy the job 30 minutes later. Im sure they have a list and have talked to a ton of people but for it to move that fast, and then Jimmy gets the scoop, doesn’t add up.

He is an extremely competent AD, and it may take a while to see the fruits of that hire, but I believe we will see UT athletics as a whole, including football, do some good things under him.

Agree. But think it would have been ugly for a long time also if they would have been able to continue what they were doing for two more years as PF planned. At least now I have hope that we can build a good offense quickly and have competent people in place to build this right even though it is going to take a while. I don't dread playing Vandy and OOC games at least. I was miserable watching games this year.
