Just say NO to Fleck. His schtick would be insufferable.

The main difference I see between him and Butch is I don't believe Butch built anything. Building two programs in two different places is pretty impressive. One time could be a fluke and considered situational. Two times mean something he does works. Not my first choice but I wouldn't hate it.

I’d be very curious about his staff, but I’m definitely warming up to the idea.

You can win a lot of games with great qb play and he has went out and got the best qbs the last few years

In order to hire Kiffen, don't you need assurances that he has changed? Also, if he's trying to get another job after a year at Ole Miss, doesn't that mean that he hasn't changed?

Fleck is basically Butch Jones on steroids. I think the fanbase would be extremely wary from the get-go with him. Wouldn't be the easy buy-in like Jones got. Would have to start winning before people truly jumped in the boat.

This is so false. Fleck actually played football -at the professional level even- which was one of Jones’s biggest flaws IMO. Jones followed Kelly into good situations twice. Fleck has had to build programs into division champs twice. The slogans/salesmanship is truly the ONLY similarity. It’s almost like saying Fleck is too much like Pruitt just because he is bald too.

You could argue that Danny White wouldn't be a good "fit" judging by the past hiring practices for that position. I would say he has a majority of the fan base pretty excited.

He hasn’t made one bad hire but then again the hires he made was understandable because your not gonna attract a top tier headline coach to Buffalo and UCF..TN is a different story

I'm going to trust White if it is Elliott. He fits the mold of who he has hired before. It's great public perception too, though that doesn't really mean a lot, seeing how he has turned down NFL teams as OC and has been mentioned for HC jobs there. He has also turned down lots of colleges.

Here is another thing with Elliott..... Clemson looked awful against Ohio St without him there, that lends a bit of credibility that he is a good coach. Also working with Clemson he has re cruiting ties to where TN recruits. Lastly he gives us a good shot at getting Simpson.
