Kiffin is too big of a risk and there is bad blood.

Riley is a pipe dream.

Napier wants too much control and wants LSU.

Campbell is happy where he's at.

Fickell is staying up north.

Freeze is not going to fly with the NCAA on us.

Elliot doesn't have HC experience.

That leaves Brown, Satterfield, Leipold, Frost, Chadwell, and Fleck.

It's going to be Chadwell and I'm fine with that. I'd also take Satterfield and Fleck tbh.

I'd feel safe to say Alontae is one of them. I'm not sure if Middleton was blowing up social media to try to campaign for one of them or not. Seemed pretty excited coming out of the meeting.

Fleck too. Granted, it was a weird season with COVID, but the shine came off of him slightly in MN this past season. If he thinks his team may be average again next year, I could see him jumping ship.

This is why I think we should look at coaches with strong overall resumes who may have had a down season or two recently. Guys who need to "reset their clock" somewhere else. If they have strong teams they are unlikely to leave to take over a dumpster fire.

SIAP but Kiffin just hired a TE coach from Southern Cal. It doesn't sound like he is leaving Oxford anytime soon. Sure he could take him with but I don't see it.

I think it would be a good hire...and most realistic.

Fleck is basically Butch Jones on steroids. I think the fanbase would be extremely wary from the get-go with him. Wouldn't be the easy buy-in like Jones got. Would have to start winning before people truly jumped in the boat.

I had mentioned yesterday that if Butch would have coached and ran the program like he did the first 2 years he was here, he would probably still be here. He started letting the players run the program and coaching scared. We called him Butch Stones the first 2 years he was here because he was aggressive. He had super thin skin and when things started going down hill that was his undoing.

Can't ignore what he did at UCF, though. O'Leary tanked the program and he built them back up in no time.

O’Leary had four 10+ win seasons including 12-1 in 2013. He may have tanked it his last season (haven’t read about it) but even the season before that he went 9-4.

He absolutely fits their profile. Experienced, proven winner and a program builder. Probably reached his ceiling at Minnesota with the 11 win season.
