Plowman is a ****** idiot...she is the executioner of this once proud..WINNING football program.

Choirboys don't win the SEC...

😭
Really? Did TNStud take over this account?
I ask because you’re post today are about as tiresome and annoying as his.
This program hasn’t been proud or winning for years before she got here!
But she is having to handle a he## of a dumpster fire.
Why don’t you let it play out a little and see what actually happens before you freak out?

His quote was the job wasn’t winnable. A good coach made it winnable. A bad coach lost a lot there. That’s all that should be said about it.

When Steele was coach there the spread wasn’t a thing to level playing field. Briles succeeding by bringing in a system that can win with inferior players. Last time we judged Steele for previous job it was the bowl game for Clemson and Dooley was forced to hire someone else as DC otherwise Dooley may have been coach here a while with Chaney/Steele combo.

I don't buy it. Fuller was on the way out with Pruitt. The big folks on the hill knew this. I'd heard rumblings months ago.

Im saying I think they may have known he was on the way out but also assumed he was going to be involved with the hire first

I think they had marrone and steele ready to go

This is a link to a post on a Texas board summarizing what went wrong with Tom Herman. Worth a read, even though it doesn't get into any of the real salacious stuff that is floating around out there about his behavior off the field. Most of that is message board stuff, so hard to tell how much to believe. Probably the straw that broke the camel's back was how Herman handled The Eyes of Texas issue, which wouldn't be an issue that would follow him to Knoxville.

I've said it before and I'll say it again, I think Herman would be an upgrade over what we've had, but I still have concerns about his maturity levels for a big job like this, and he needs to do some self-scouting about how things broke down for him at Texas. I think if he does that, he can have a successful second act. He reminds me a lot of where Lane Kiffin was when he got fired by USC.

I don't think this theory holds up with your previous theory of a "coup."
