Luckily Level 1 violations are very specific....

Examples of level I violations include:
  • Academic fraud
  • Failure to cooperate in an NCAA enforcement investigation
  • Individual unethical or dishonest conduct
  • Lack of institutional control
  • Violation due to a head coach’s responsibility for an underlying Level I violation by an individual within the sport program

I would.. our WRs were terrible getting separation

I wouldn't put that solely on Tee. We had/have several guys that had trouble separating but I also think we had guys open plenty and QB couldn't get them the ball. Also JJ and Callaway having career years is no fluke imo.

Kiffin explained to Thamel that he was told the administration was prepared to deal with the difficulties of sanctions but “once the ball was kicked no one remembered the sanctions.”

He added, “I don’t think there’s any way you can keep winning through those penalties.”

-Kiffin regarding coaching through the penalties at USC.

We sure that dude wants to come here? Heh

Yes, if AV is correct on FU money coming to the table, it is hard to predict who that would be for.
I would think:
1. Herman doesn't require FU money as he has his $15 million from Texas
2. Freeze doesn't require FU money, just wants the opportunity. But I can't see us going after him if we are going to get sanctions.
3. Kiffin would ask for FU money for his assistants, but likely not for himself.
4. Chadwell & Napier can't command FU money when they haven't demonstrated themselves at P5 schools.
5. Only one to throw FU money at is Campbell, but with no ties to the south or UT, I can't see him coming into this mess. Then you start thinking, make him say no and throw $8-10 million at him, is he worth that risk?
6. Anybody else that can command FU money?
Lincoln Riley? I’d call his ace

So trot out a coach Auburn fans were literally protesting to keep from getting their HC position?

The difference is they didn’t want him being the guy for the next 3-5years. We literally will only be using him as a stopgap for the next year at the most.
but hey let’s go with your logic, get turned down by all the decent coaches and go hire a mediocre G5 coach again instead of buying ourselves more time.

And that seriously puts stress on how attractive this job is right now.
Maybe it will get to a point that only a man who’s been through the ringer and at a lowest of low will only take the job. A man who’s changed and ready to make up for past mistakes. Someone like Hugh Freeze. 😉

we need him now more than ever.

Texas made a mistake

Have you legit watched any of his games there? Serious question.

I’ve seen every single one. He only made 1 big 12 title game ffs, and there’s only 10 teams! lol idk why y’all can think an underachiever at Texas can win in the SEC...he won’t have the most talent on his teams here yet you expect him to win??
