She has a doctorate in strategic management. Taught graduate level management classes at UT. I’m critical of academia at times because they don’t experience the real world, but I think this lady knows what she is doing.

I didn't much like her calling Coach Fulmer, Phillip. Seemed a bit too familiar.

Kiffin, Freeze, Herman, Malzhan, and Campbell are all offensive guys with head coaching experience that are reasonable candidates. If we hired any one of them (preferably one of the first three) I would consider it a home run all things considered.

Chadwell needs to adapt or run his offense at a school that actually plays in a conference that matters before I would feel comfortable/be excited about hiring him. I don't care that he's from Tennessee or that he was Coach of the Year.

Herman underwhelmed with the best talent.

Absolutely nothing a quality coach can’t overcome. It also will not play nearly as big of a factor as some are acting. I promise you that there are several coaches that look at taking a job with issues like this as further job security and house money. Lowers expectations and pressure for them.

I actually agree with you. Donnie was a good on-floor coach. Had a mediocre roster at UT. People in the basketball forum would disagree with us, but if you watched his play calls at the end of games, they were good but couldn’t execute. The problem was that Donnie was shady, and we would have ended up in trouble.
