Recruiting Forum Football Talk III

Like someone said earlier, LSU has hard evidence against both football and basketball with no true ramifications. If we initiated our own investigation and turned ourselves in, holy hell that’s a stupid move when you’ve seen what programs can get away with.

Please just spend 5 minutes on Google. Both LSU and UF football programs involved the NCAA with their investigations.

LSU self-imposes bowl ban for NCAA violations in college football

NCAA places Florida football on probation, coach Dan Mullen given show-cause over recruiting violations

mixed emotions here. Little bit unsure why @Atlanta VOL is so happy. Yes it's good to get Pruitt and Phil out, but this is at VERY high cost. Unless we have already wrapped up a GREAT AD and HC, Pruitt may as well still be coaching. Because now We have the NCAA up our @$$.

This thing is too calculated.. I think it's already wrapped up sealed and delivered.. just have to play the waiting game so it doesn't look worse than it is

How do you know that to be certain?

anything is possible

It appears we are looking for a coach with the integrity of Rick Barnes, who want to come to a program who is being punished by the NCAA.
Agree, man don't shoot the messenger but if things get bad Mark Stoops would be solid IMO. Again, if things get way down the list.

I really think they invited the NCAA in because they thought this was “minor” stuff to start with, but then it hit the fan!! At that point you can’t act like there is nothing going on.

The next guy is severely knee capped already before even taking the job. Not a great place to be
True, but everyone in this universe knows he will be handicapped, so considering the mess he will inherit the new coach will probably have a longer honeymoon and therefore have a better chance of fixing it right

We'd still have them up our @$$, the investigation wouldn't just "go away" once it started. Only we'd have Pruitt handicapped with the only thing he was even offering (cheating recruiting). So if ya thought 3-7 with him was the floor....imagine what it'd be with limited scholarships, bowl ban, and no ability to buy players.
