that’s not how it works. This was coming regardless if we went 3-7, 10-0, or 5-5. If you don’t get in front of this and try to self police that’s when you get SMUd and really taken to the shed by the NCAA. That’s what you don’t want.

Like someone said earlier, LSU has hard evidence against both football and basketball with no true ramifications. If we initiated our own investigation and turned ourselves in, holy hell that’s a stupid move when you’ve seen what programs can get away with.

mixed emotions here. Little bit unsure why @Atlanta VOL is so happy. Yes it's good to get Pruitt and Phil out, but this is at VERY high cost. Unless we have already wrapped up a GREAT AD and HC, Pruitt may as well still be coaching. Because now We have the NCAA up our @$$.

Hire the right guy (Herman or Freeze) and give them time. Forget next year. It’s going to be a disaster. Maybe the next year, too. But it will let them build relationships with boosters, coaches, and recruits.

Be transparent. This is about to suck. But pay someone who has won, and let them come in and fix it. Nothing will be over night. Herman went 32-18 at Texas. 8 wins a year. I’d bet a lot of us would take that considering where we are today.

I may be way off, and some may disagree, but JMO. I also want an offensive-mindset HC. Gumps-UF was 52-46. Gone are the days of consistently winning 17-13, 21-17 games. Especially at the championship level.

He’s tired, defeated, and needs to go. He isn’t a real AD.

We haven’t had a real one since Dickey but per modern thought he must suck because he was a coach with no experience being.a bureaucrat. Phil’s job was to step in during an emergency and stabilize things — to be a figurehead we could rally around and he did that damn well for a time. However, Fulmer should have been replaced before any of this ever happened. He wasn’t because no one wanted to fight that fight and it would’ve been a fight as the factions all jockeyed for control.

Now he has to go regardless of any positioning regarding Pruitt. Simple fact is that a temp hire it was never his place to make the next hire.
